Pawn: nothing
First you call the piece, ie "N" (if more than one knight could be alluded to, specify the row or column)
Second, call the square the piece is going to, ie Nf3.
If there is a capture with it, then it becomes "Nxf3". If it was a check it'd be "Nf3+". Checkmate would be ”Nf3#”

Forgot to mention, castling is O-O if it's king side (short) and O-O-O if it's queen side (long).
Also even if it's evident after my last post, a pawn movement would simply be "b4" for example, capturing being "a3xb4"
