How’d they manage to create a literal 10/10 sequel when the other 2 games were decent at best?

I hope so but think cp2077 will be meh 6.5 or 7 out of 10. Technically proficient yet lacking in soul.

All three are great. I feel like I'm the only person who thinks so. Everyone seems to shit on one while praising another.

true, I got a soft spot for the first one, humbly made in the same engine as Neverwinter Nights, and has its own set of mini-games you could play in taverns
plus that storyline is DOPE, and the rhythim esque combat system is unique

damn I am so jealous. just wait til you get all that sweet grandmaster witcher gear. Make sure you find all the witcher gear, that shit is awesome to have crafted.

and everything is in-game cutscenes which makes it feel really good. Animations are all solid (even if they get reused a bunch), voices are good (lots of reuse but nearly as bad as Bethesda games).

Alright guys, as someone who has struggled with TW3 but loved TW2, what advice do you have to make another go at this game? I got to the griffon on my first playthrough and fell off. The starting area really just bored the hell out of me.

What difficulty is ideal? Any recommended/must have mods (PC)?

I doubt that, too many innovations, completely different setting and features they have no experience with, they will try hard but it won't reach the quality of GOTY Witcher simply because it will take them a year to retrospectively debug it with 10 gig patches every month instead of adding to it

Avoid side quests like the plague or you'll burn out and won't be able to finish the game. They're all the same and mindnumbingly boring at that, literal chores. There's a handful that are important for story purposes but you'll be able to tell which ones those are because the game pretty much forces them on you as far as I can tell, and they're given to you by or have something to do with recurring characters. Ignore all side quests besides those, stick with the main story and witcher contracts.

Maybe this game just looks like a 10/10 to people because the previous two were garbage and the western side of the industry wasn't doing so great at the time
