The Adventure games ruined the series. They introduced edgelord dweebs to Sonic and, in turn, turned the series into a 4kids laughing stock.

Classic Sonic is the GOAT. 2.5D Generations style is the way to go.

that's not an unpopular opinion here's a real one:
sonic rush is the best game in the series, the classic series sucks dick and heroes is the best 3d game to date

Adventure 1 is hardly edgy. Sure, Gamma’s story is more serious than the others, but the rest is surface level “gotta defeat Eggman” or “find my froggy” silliness. SA2 introduces Shadow’s backstory, which could be a bit much, but half the game is still late 90s buttrock action adventure.

The best Sonic game was the spinball, and none of the 3d games were any good.

The Babylon Rogues were the last good additions to the cast.

Modern Sonic design is what ruined Sonic.
Had he stayed as Classic I'm sure his popularity would be respected as Mario instead of being a laughing stock

why do people say that jason griffiths is the worst voice for sonic? i thought people liked him more than rogers. I've even seen comments saying that drummond is the best actor when hes probably the worst

Sonic 3 and Knuckles is probably the best game ever made.
I do agree with 1 and 2 being janky.

I think it would be cool if Zavok and Zazz were both against each other as well as sonic and you have to beat both of them although maybe they could team up in the end to try and stop you

2D sonic games are retarded. How the fuck am i supposed to react to shit coming at me on the right side of my screen if I'm running 500 mph. The platforming segments are mediocre at best.

Shadow's game is better than Heroes. Expert mode is great.
