I'm enjoying it. I don't know if covid fucked development hard or if Gust got an even lower budget than usual but some of the cutscenes are embarrassing. Seeing characters talk to empty space because they didn't bother modeling everyone is sad. And they rush through a lot of stuff.

This game is fucking amazing, I loved it way more than I thought I would, 73 hours in and there are still more shit to do, and the end game is pretty challenging on hard, I’m with all stats maxed (999) and I’m still taking forever to kill bosses, they almost one-shot me sometimes
I wish more people enjoyed the game as much as I did

Same here. I'm not that far ahead, I have something like 15 hours in it, but I didn't know anything about Fairy Tail and found it to be really fun. The combat is fun and the characters are adorable.

I wish the game was like One Piece world seeker with character customization because Fairy Tail is too action packed for a turn based game. Then we get a choice to pick either caster or holder magic with effects ranging from a small fire blast to a colourful nuclear explosion. I want my character to look like Mystogan with a bunch of staffs behind my back with different magic fitted for their appearance. An ultimate where all my staffs circle around to create a giant beam like in the grand tournament arc on a boss. There could've been a fun section where we compete in a magic tournament and fight other guilds, and the option to play as Fairy Tail members to get a taste on their skills we could obtain later.

See I would think KT would have factored that in when they forced (because let's be real, I doubt they volunteered to do it) to make the game. With a semi-popular license you think they would give them a little extra to spend on that stuff. Oh well, game is still fun but I pity anyone who goes into it unfamiliar with the story.
