This has always bugged me so it might sound dumb but could alpha dream characters like fawful, midbus cakletta etc appear in mainline mario games and spinoffs since they’re connected to 3D mario and appear in the mushroom kingdom.
It may seem dumb but I’ve always wondered why we didn’t see more characters from mario and Luigi.
It would make sense to why we didn’t see paper mario characters because it’s 2d mario and takes place in a book and Camelot made sports games but since alpha dream is 3d mario would fan favourites like fawful be able to make appearances in main mario games and spin offs if Nintendo wanted to use them.
