Should I invest time in this or is it pay 2 win garbage? How fucked are players without spending some money?
Is it an overall decent game or not worth most people's time?

You faggots lied to me this game is super enjoyable actually, I'm having fun killing monsters and shit with my rare dropped dual blades.

The only problem you run into without spending money is running out of inventory space. There is no pay2win, only pay 2 make the experience more relaxing. Most cosmetics can also be found in player shops.

I bought 250 mill and was able to buy maxed out +35 nemesis weapons with max affixes and was able to also fully affix my circuray armor. It also only took me a few days of grinding (with the p2w boosters atop the regular boosters they hand out like candy) to max out all my classes.

Now the only thing I have to do is wait for the 14 star weapons to come out, I'll pay a few bucks to the meseta sellers and then purchase any of them that get onto the marketplace.

Besides that hanging around Ship 2 Block 2 is pretty fun. I'd say the game is definitely pay to win though.

it's pay to be able to play more classes on one character, which otherwise gets inconvenient with the inventory limitations and etc

it's a very artificially manufactured limitation, they do want you to pay to get over it, but if you don't you'll still be as powerful as the next guy since you only have two active classes at a time

At best, you will be paying to get to the endgame a week or two faster than the f2p. This game equipment isn't too hard to get. The real hell is if you want to get into the dressing up simulator. Depending on your tastes you will sink way more into it than into endgame equipment. I'm glad I have simple tastes and didn't need 200 accessories for my character.

you auto join but just cause they are in the same area doesnt mean they are doing the same shit as you. sure youve got the same quest but they could be ignoring it and fishing or just standing there.

It's where the various cliques all hang out and ERP and emote in the lobby for 24 hours a day. Go take a gander at the /vg/ thread and if you can imagine that about 10x, that's what block 2 is like.

So, first of all, everything is an instance. Instances can be either 4-12 players total, but parties are 4 players max, meaning there can be multiple parties in one instance. You can join parties directly, yes, or just go in solo. But, you can also place party beacon inside the instance to form parties in situ. You will also see options of "search multiple blocks" and "current block" when queing for quests. Generally, searching multiple will place you where people actually are, while current block is often empty unless you happen to be in a popular block.

Ranger is a fine choice, but I advise you to not take Steady Shot on rifle seriously. Understand that you will take it off your hotbar once you get the actually cool PAs. You will use it until then, of course, but don't think that's what Ranger amounts to in the end.

It's a terrible old game.
Only good for fashion game, if you're starting now you're fucked royally in that department. Basic nice ones start out at 1 million plus.
The expired gacha banners are even priced even higher. Unless if you enjoy looking like every other poor fag then this game is for you.
