PC issues aside it's a decent game so far but nothing with a wow factor or anything to hook me, not sure what the hype is.
Also Aloy has the body of a model and doesn't look "strong" aside from her wide jawline, anime and porn has warped your standards.

I've read that to improve performance you need to put your PCIE to x16 in your bios. When I checked my Bios it has Auto, 8x2, 8x1+4x2, and 4x4. Are any of those settings going to help or do I leave it on Auto?

That is just the benchmark when it first loads. It has to load all the textures/models then it is normal.
