This was such a dumb pick. This is why other fighting games that aren't Smash are garbage at picking guest characters. The Rival Schools character should have been Batsu but of course they go with the waifu character that coomers can drool over. Akira wasn't even one of the funnest characters to play. The series is literally made by Capcom who still has shit taste to this very day. I bet if the final character is another guest character (let's say from Darkstalkers but I doubt that) they would probably go with Morrigan or Felicia even though Demitri would be the right choice.

Just tried it, it feels weird, almost as if the developers want you to do a specific combo in a specific time. Very restricting. Whoever worked on the network is pretty incompetent, and there is not easy and quick way to rematch against someone you just fought 2 battles with, or an easy way to add said person.
Played against a bunch of try-hard, then I played against someone who was super aggressive and made the game fun as hell even though I lost.

Yeah, I read your post and even though I don't know much about the game, from what I'm finding how through playing and more info on videos this seems to be the case. I just watched a video detailing the mechanics and why some of them aren't very good. Like people can derp the fuck out of you and even though you could have perfect blocking you aren't rewarded for it and your opponent can peace out without any problems. Like I said, very derpy and honestly unfair. I was playing with my friend and trying out every character but he had to go, so I'll keep experimenting tomorrow since it takes a long time to find a match and most people play as if it were evo.

I dabbled with SF2 when I was a kid but never really got into any of the games. Is SF5 beginner friendly? I suck at fighting games and i'm having a tough time with Tekken 7 right now so I'm thinking about switching over to SF5. How does it compare to the previous installments in terms of accessibility? also, SFV has no bugs that affect gameplay in a major way. everything is working just as intended. The game is thoroughly tested and solidly built to the point that it's boring as fuck. a few little bugs here and there may have helped the game be a little more interesting
