Why is this game considered the best in the series?
>rushed development
>barely any npc encounters
>washed out textures and colors
>orange piss ui
>no grind rails
>no races
>awful and tedious doorhack puzzle
>aridia and rilgar just shitty ranger missions
>shitty ranger missions
>horrible version of metropolis
>very linear level design
>all game you fight the same enemies
>for being called up your arsenal the arsenal is somehow not very impressive
>the whole agent clank plot where ratchet is literally a nobody is weird as fuck
>the ryno literally becomes WORSE when you get it to lvl 5

>furry
>shovelware
No one cares

Do you know what shovelware means or do you just use buzzwords to fit in

>UYA
>considered the best in the series
Going Commando is generally considered the best, some people would argue ACiT, but generally nostalgia wins out

>Going Commando is generally considered the best
You have no idea how much I've heard people say UYA is the best over the years

I scratched my going commando disc so i could only play 3/4th of the game before it crashes

My UYA did work fine though so i like it the most

UYA is far and away better than GC
>b-bt muh angela
Gameplay is what matters

Casuals will say UYA is better but Ratchet fans will say GC

>that Qwark video game
I hated that shit.
The ranger missions can eat a dick, some lasted so fucking long.

>Retard
Same could be said about your worthless opinion faggot

youtube.com/watch?v=Fc953Q2cAto
>the game is not furry

At least it's not Deadlocked.

kek, I love these pics
Needs a reference to Girl With A Stick though

Also no space sim battles like in GC

GC is way better than UYA from a purely gameplay standpoint, UYA is really rough
>literally no enemy variety
>repurposed multiplayer maps for lame mission segments
>random vehicle segments that disregard all the fun of playing R&C
>forced to play a lame platformer every other planet
>by far the worst "hunt for crystals" planet they've ever had
>game's color palette is almost purely orange
>final boss is just you holding the fire button and lazily strafing to the side in that dumb fucking hovership
I did a recent playthrough of the series after only playing the original trilogy as a kid and it's wild how bad UYA feels nowadays

The developer Commentary is kino, they talk through everything that happened and why stuff got cut

>by far the worst "hunt for crystals" planet they've ever had
that fucking sewer man. never again

starfox clone gameplay was the worst part of GC

Hooked up my PS3 to replay Going Commando on the HD collection, still holds up brilliantly. Never tried UYA but Ill give it a shot after I platinum GC.

Shame that GC had a shitty final boss

It's not. Going Commando generally is, and it's a much better game.

The biobliterator was never meant to feel like the final boss, it was intentionally designed to be a victory lap after beating Nefarious, who is also the best final boss of the 3 games

Series casual, only played a bit of R&C, half of GC, all of UYA and Deadlocked (Gladiator here in Aus lmao). This is probably true, because I really liked UYA

>before multiplayer got shut down
UYA > GC
>after multiplayer got shutdown
GC > UYA
Simple as that

>nothing to back up your claim
Shitter

As a kid I thought it was cool but nkw its just tedious and shit. Yeah I love doing a collectathon in a tight maze. And after you get magneboots it fucks with your chargeboots and longjumps.

objective ranking
GC>ACiT>UYA=DL>ItN>R&C=ToD>R&C(2016)>SM=SAC>QfB>A4O>FFA

I could get behind this although I'd switch up some of the later placements.

NOOOO YOU CANT DEVALUE MY BING BING WAHOOS WITH A SNOY FRANCHISE

Going commando has far better gameplay though. Up your arsenal has the worst ratio of good to bad weapons in the entire series. The gun is either a one shot gun or it takes the entire reserve to kill a single tyrannoid. It also has uninteresting ranger missions and qwark mini games as half of the content you need to play which really bogs things down. The multiplayer is really the only edge 3 has over 2 since that was a blast back on PS2 online

It was bundled in with the PS2 Slim when I got my PS2. Maybe it's nostalgia, maybe its just the only one people played.

Going Commando paved the way for the idea that the series' logical progression would be towards more combat. Yes, UYA was worse, but it was exactly what people thought they wanted in the series.

If people say a game is the best in the series withot playing the other games then they have subhuman nigger IQ

>but it was exactly what people thought they wanted in the series
No it fucking wasn't

speak for yourself, faggot. I liked having more guns and more reasons to shoot them

GOD

DAMN

THIS

TRACK

FUCKS

>ACiT that high
This isn't a case of me saying "i didn't like it therefore no one can like it", but I genuinely have no idea how anyone can rank that game so highly. It's the best of the Future games sure but that isn't saying much.

Objective R&C list:
>They're all fun and worth replaying regularly except for A4O and FFA

>more guns
Half your arsenal was useless the and 1/4th if the guns were from GC
>more reasons to shoot them
Yeah against the same enemy from start to finish and in boring ranger missions that were half vehicles and turret sections.

Unpopular opinion:
A4O was actually a pretty fun game

>up your arsenal
>up your arse

HOW WAS THIS ALLOWED?

David Bergeaud is such an extremely underrated composer

UYA > RAC1 > GC > ACiT > DL > ItN > ToD > QfB > 2016 > SM > SAC > A4O > FFA

Good spot to level up weapons, though.

Because it's fun, it controls well, has lots of QOL improvements for gadgets and menus, and all the weapons have decent utility throughout the whole game.

I had a heater in my room and winters that went -20 F. Me and my friend would stay up all night drinking coke when we were 12 and 13 with my heater on and a blanket over the heater grinding yetis and tentacle monsters in going commander to pad our monster archive.

God those were good times.

>GC shitter

How does it feel to have shit taste and low IQ

How does it feel for my impeccable taste in vidya to be rent free in your head?

Koros

David Bergeaud is fucking based.
Holy fucking shit his shit is so on point.

I replayed both GC and UYA again two months ago and this is not true. Lots of weapons in GC become useless or redundant halfway through the game because their range and DPS are crap.

>thread about to die
>suddenly mass replies from nowhere
I'm not buying your game, Insomniac. Stop sending Gamingbrit's furries here to shill.
