That seems a pity given how big the fan base is. We've had such a boom in good animation in the last decade or so with Star vs the Forces of Evil, Gravity Falls, etc. Weird what draws a crowd I guess.
Dark Souls? I never really go far into it but I recall it being a lot of holding off the end of a nearly dead world that seemed to already be falling part while you just delay what will eventually come to pass.
