Lost to dante 3 times as nelo

>lost to dante 3 times as nelo
>lost 3 times as himself
>lost twice as urizen
>lost once to his own son
why does he keep trying? how does he manage to keep his pride despite getting his ass kicked so many times?

autism

That's the point of DMC 5 ending - he finally get it.

>nelo
gimped so it doesnt count
>lost 3 times as himself
he only lost once in dmc3, and it was a tie in 5
>urizen
doesnt count either
>lost once to his own son
he was weakened by his fight with dante, doesnt count

he really only lost once in the entire series

His 1v1 with Dante in DMC5 doesn't count because Dante had done a lot of fighting on that day. In their duel in the ending, Dante had the upper hand. I think a fresh Dante is slightly stronger than Vergil.

it's at the point now where it's his own twisted autistic way of showing affection for his brother and son

oh yea i forgot the 2nd fight in 3 was interrupted by jester

nah, vergil had the fruit boost on his side so i count that fight as legit, but it was a tie

God, look what they did to my boy's face..

i think its his nose and forehead
his features aren't as sharp and he looks much less menacing

He got old

yeah they made him even hotter

He’s the older brother therefore he’s the alpha and little brothers need not reply to this post with their anger. You know I’m right

>tfw never got to see this line in game

user, it's not about how many times you got knocked down, it's about how many times you got up

>Beat Dante first time as Nelo, draw in the second, lost in the third
>Beat Dante first time in DMC3, draw in the second, lost in the thir
>Beat Dante first time as Urizen, lost in the two others conflicts
>Beat Dante when return, draw in second fight, lost in the final playful fight
So my count is 4 wins, 3 draws, 5 loses

Virgil being the main villain of DMC5 was a mistake

What do you propose instead

Maybe a new villain? Is that such a crazy concept?

its not kino

>makes cavaliere the best weapon in your path

Vergil said he would wait for Dante to recover before fighting him otherwise it would be pointless

>less backflips
Then what the fuck is the point?

Did anybody else think the DMC5 ending was disappointing? All that build up then it's just an easy fight against Virgil with Nero, you can beat him in like under a minute

Not him, but could had been cool if Urizen was actually character proposed by the leaks, a powerful judge who decides who gets the fruit and acts as an keeper of order in the underworld

dmc3 lady will always be cutest
dmc5 lady would probably be best if they kept the chin/jawline from 3

i did not expect it to end when it did. when vergil and dante teamed up to destroy the roots i thought there'd be one more mission.
i know they're optional to use, but none of the fights had tension behind them because of how many yellow orbs they give. did not see a single game over the entire game

>moding weapons
At that point might as well make weapons one-shot everything.

>you can beat him in like under a minute
No

Where did you learn to count? They're even.

Yes, you can. Did you even play the game?

Neither is fighting Vergil again

It's simple. he needs his own game

lady in dmc4 was more fun to play as than dante and nero

With speedrunning strats maybe. Otherwise no

>nooo you can't have the same villain twice in 5 games
Why not

>why does he keep trying?
Because Bing Bong and Itsuno are creatively bankrupt and only know how to rehash the same bullshit multiple times.

what was the worst/best mission in dmc5?
worst was probably the first dante mission. it was just the prologue but longer

>Beat Dante first time as Urizen, lost in the two others conflicts
I mean it was kind of a draw the second time, he wasn't beaten, he just couldn't be arsed and fucked off

yo breh in 4SE do you have to unlock vergil and trish and lady or can you select if you buy the game and boot itup

The one where you play as all 3 characters and fight waves of old monsters and repeated bosses in a generic environment. Mission 15 I think. As soon as you get to it you realize it's THAT kind of a mission, the padding before the final showdown kind of mission

The latter.

While I agree DMC3 Lady is best, I think DMC5 Lady is fucking great.

Speedrunning strats. Check out any legit Vergil discovery, it'll be 3 minutes minimum

Completely pointless as a character though. Why were her and Lady in the game anyway?

>her and Lady
Trish I mean

it's missions like those that made me wonder if dmc3 will remain the best by the end of 5

>how does he manage to keep his pride despite getting his ass kicked so many times?

Autism
