Controversial opinion but this is the best version of Halo ever. By that I mean that it just feels and sounds so good. Shame there was like only 4 maps.

1) the game is too dark. don't tell me to up the gamma, the game IS too dark and it's a bug. you didn't pay for an early access tier game, did you?
2) controller "balance" is fucked up. I want to use m&kb, not controller. don't tell me "lmao git gud", or post one single video of someone 4 shotting 2 people with the BR on m&kb without reloading (very easy, you have 1/3 of the clip left). it's just undoable.
3) I play halo 3.

It and Reach are terribly unoptimized on PC for 144hz, I'll often get stuttering and the whole experience isn't smooth like in 2, 3 or CE.
I have a great PC so I assume those specific ports are just fucky and broken.

You are correct. You need to lock at 60fps for Reach and 2A MP. I simply just don't have them installed anymore for that exact reason.

My PC crashed one day, After rebooting it I was going to play Halo MP (wanted to try Halo 3 mostly) and after starting the MCC up the game gave me a stream of warning messages. Most of which were filled with question marks and pointing to some .dll or something in the games install directory. Since then I've been unable to play online. I never cheat in games so it's a shame that some windows crash basically banned me from the game.

no one i know plays the online and those that were hyped for it got turned off by the whole controller auto-aim dealio. the reason why me and the bros i know got it was for coop which that doesn't even work 100% all the time. random disconnects made it a slog to finish the story mode so the game will sit idle till the next story drops

that sucks dude, fucking game is half broken. it boggles my mind that halo of all things isn't just working on pc in 2020. they have had years to get this together and beta tested us win10 anons with halo5 custom games and forge. this is supposed to be their flagshit title and almost everytime i boot it up something is jankier than playing s.t.a.l.k.e.r.
