Now imagine what game will look like when they load that fast AND have this many triangles... Yeah I'm thinking Next-Gen is going to be epic.
I wish
Not trying to be a cringe Zig Forumsxdrone but why can't everything in that webm already fit in ram?
soulless
>takes two seconds between sections
I thought you guys said it was instantaneous
I don't understand what I am looking at. Animation?
Wow. All that loading for a movie sequence.
Impressive.
>muh triangles
Next-gen will be all about lighting
I wish
>that 3rd area pop in
Yeah, PS5 SSD is a meme.
Silky smooth 30 fps
Mark cerny said transition can be so fast they'd even have to slow them down
This is how games will look in 2030 its always like this with tech demos
>muh triangles
>muh photo realism
fuck off faggot
Reminds me of Prey from 2006, and that was on computers with HDDs.
Whats up with all of those stutters and pop ins.
>That slight fps drop before he goes into the rift
A clever way to cover up a loading screen, but a loading screen none the less.
Incredible
It takes less load time than that to teleport between two large sprawling levels in dark souls.
ram disk is faster
You can never do fuckall about your 9tf though. God I can't wait for the game comparisons between my Series X and your shitshowstation
>WOW! Through the power of the SSD, I can now enjoy stunning, scripted cinematic setpieces within 3-4 second intervals!
In all seriousness, I'm looking forward to how devs can utilize this tech toward the non-movie department.
3 gens in a row and retards still falls for Sonys lies.
Enjoy squeezing through tight spaces and boosting characters so they can throw you a ladder for next Gen. It's cinematic and Kino, they say
>pop-in galore
>480p
Yea, right.
Besides, didn't Titanfall and one of the CoD games already do this with no hiccups whatsoever? How is this impressive?
>2 second loading screens
INSTANT
Feels great having such a fast SSD it's like they took it from the future. PC wont be able to catch up to us until 2032 lol.
PS5 will literally be better in every way. I MIGHT screencap this post when comparisons start coming out. Avengers will be faster on PS5. Sonic will be faster on PS5.
>I never touched a ps2 before
you now remember INFINITE DETAIL threads
>you now remember INFINITE DETAIL threads
wasnt it unlimited graffix?
Well, it's about time!
How is this impressive? We've seen this like 10 years ago.
It would look like shit if it was instantaneous. A 2 second portal makes sense without having a random cutscene change.
Its still incredibly faster than anything else we have to date
What's her name?
>Will look and run worse than PC and Series X
>"It loads 2 seconds faster! Sony always wins baby!"
The cope will be off the charts later this year.
yeah, unlimited detail, just watched the video again rn

funny how the graphics are far from impressive nowadays kek
when the fuck is windows fixing NVMe drives?
>It would look like shit if it was instantaneous
Kek. This is Zig Forums tier autism like 'It's dishonest animation' if something is superbly animated. Or 'Forced'. Literally going 'It's OK to be bad because SOUL'.
I took the game on PC having free online in mind, I never knew loadings were such a mess on PS4...
>all those assets and animations and work just for a stupid cinematic transition
I really miss when video games weren't movies
Playing World on a base PS4 was fucking torture. I have no idea how I managed 400 hours in it before switching to the PC version.
>itt
>Series X
nobody will buy this
why are you acting like its even a comparison
This is simply a faster loading screen though. I expect in some heavier parts you will spend 10+ seconds in that generic dimension, just like GoW fast travel.
Also i honestly fucking hate the artstyle. It's hard to tell what is going on because colors are so fucking blurred and blend together. Back in the day games were crisp and crystal clear and very readable. This is garbage.
Looking back at it it kinda looks like the nanites from the UE5 demo. were they ahead of their time?
You do know that the game is loading for two seconds each times he enters one of those rifts, right?
Now I'm saving your post.
Avengers will have terrible scores, and faster won't matter. Better looking will. Faster isn't this thing that will win you points so stop with that
>power of SSD means that devs can use different tricks to hide loading screens other than squeezing through tight corridors and scripted underwater sequence
lmao
Everyone I know is buying it because of Gamepass. Everyone talks about Gamepass
Are you retarded? Imagine if you changed worlds at the push of a button without any sort of effects. It would just be an unexplainable cutscene change its stupid.
How am I the autist? Youre bitching about 2 second portals that transition you into entirely different worlds.
Fake, PeeSeacuck. You've delayed the PS4 loading time for your epic video.
>can literally see the part where it transitions from a cutscene to a playable state
I hate console wars
Fuck this. What planets do you want to see come back? For me it's Boldan.

I'm not talking bout the portal effects, I was talking about the load in and shit. See . I misunderstood you, I thought you meant you were saying it'd look worse if the detail loaded instantly. My bad, bro.
Enjoy having nogaems while all the relevant 3rd party publishers accept Sony's exclusivity deals to counter gamepass
Which is a good thing. Lighting is and always will be the most important graphical effect in vidya. It why games like Halo 3, Bioshock, etc. Hold up so well. Question is, how long will it take for RDR2 to get surpassed graphically?
Avowed? Lol Fable? Cmon loser
wow look its nothing
no it was a sparse voxel octree renderer
>large gap
>no swingshot, no platforming, no hacking mini-game
>press L2 to load the next area
This bothers me more than you know.
>Comments disabled
LMAO, what are these chaps up to now? Still scamming their government?
Based. Looking forward to all these games.
