What's this shit?

No PS1 game is that size. They're all around 300-400mb.

Well it's FF7 and it comes with 3 discs.

enjoy the dolphin porn, OP

He could be downloading one of those multi-disc games, like later Final Fantasy games, that consisted of 4 discs worth of over 600 mb.

Dolphin is gamecube.

Hope your computer enjoys life in the mineshafts

what? just put the fucking bios in the bios folder
zoomers were a mistake

Use PCSX-R instead, doesn't come with plugins but it works pretty much out of the box.

I bet he also uses zsnes

Snes9x chad reporting

It's the best PS1 emulator

Zsnes
Sn9x
Psx fin
Epsx
Are still good

>frogposter is retarded

Many such cases, most PS1 isos are around 300 MB in size.

This, use Mednafen you retards.

Why?

use duckstation instead fucktard

>complaing about 2gb downloads
are you a 5ith worlder?

Because it is by far the best emulator and its also more newbie friendly (with Retroarch)

Multi-disc games can sum to a total of 2 to 3GB like the Final Fantasy games or The Legend of Dragoon

>2gb
>Literally takes 20 secs or less to download.

What is your problem?

I tried this emulator the other day and it was absolute garbage
I'll just wait for PCSX2 to get better PS1 support because it'll probably surpass this piece of shit

I don't know how put epsxe has got even worse over the time, or maybe it's just windows 10.
The fucking thing refused to play anything without stuttering every single second.

did you try epsxe? or even the other ones like mednafn?

Beetle HV on retro-arch made ePSXe obsolete.
You can even fix the PS1 hardware limitations of misaligned textures and flickering polygons using it.
It literately makes PS1 games look like PC ports.

zsnes is broken as fuck on many games.
Now snes9x just werks, except on that helicopter game that gives byuu nightmares.
Also kega is zsnes tier in terms of audio on many games.

This, redditors never mention Duckstation because it's best PS1 emulator but only mentions Mednafen because it's shit

bizhawk is good

Its already good enough unless you play on a toaster.
And any game that has serous issues in HV mode runs just fine in software rendering (only drawback to this is native resolution)
And most games can be configured to bypass any HV rendering issues when using Open GL.

theres a whole generation of kids who just use andriod OSs and windows is just something that they see in school

>Mednafen
Shaders are shit

I remember not using Mednafen because the developers seemed up their own asses, but i dont remember why anymore.

You can't follow simple instructions? It's not that hard to make it work, user.
