it was the same with Golden and the two anime. Even PQ was just more played out character traits. still waiting for a port Arcsys/Atlus
>Fsteak lmao

That said i’d love to see Labby and Sho in mainline persona games

never ever. Take your one song in Dancing All Night and be grateful we remembered these characters at all

Because it was a fanservice spinoff that isn't comparable in scale to one of the main games.

I liked the lore the story added, it was nice to know how the androids were built

the amount of inane dialogue in these games is insane. it puts VNs to shame

They see no point when BlazBlue Cross tag is on PC and has most of the characters.

shut the fuck up. if this is even remotely true, I'm holding you personally responsible.

Post Labrys she is cute. CUTE!

Who cares? Why won't they port it to current gen?

Moreover why werent these games on the vita, they are hardly demanding

Who knows, not like Arc hadn't made games for the console.

They really need to retcon these and the dancing game from canon. They're shitty fan service.

I would rather have a new power instinct than dealing with shitty persona fighters.

If i have to say something good from these games is that the new music and characters are good and it has the best design of Yukari to date

You're in the minority

Original P4 was a game written with a genuinely original story. In retrospect yeah it's anime Scooby Doo, but in the genre of RPGs it had a similar supernatural-slice-of-life appeal as Earthbound and characters with realistic problems and insecurities that a wide variety of people can relate to. Every P4 spinoff is fanservice "remember this character? Remember that quirk they had?" waifushit, and honestly the proliferation of anime merchandising like this is the #1 thing that kills franchises in both mediums for me. Yes, developers, your art touched my heart n made me think a lil bit about myself and the people around me. Thank you. But shoving the same shit in my face over and expecting me to buy it based on past emotional experiences is cheap and manipulative.

The saddest part of all is that the original game itself beyond aesthetic is fucking college thesis level garbage. Boring area design, cardboard city with cardboard people. A barebones script based quest system and a barebones pokemon combat system. I really couldn't stomach replaying it, which is sad because the first play through really had me captivated.

yeah, I agree with you but arena is fun outside being related to persona and I want to marry labrys. sorry

Fighting game spinoffs do get kind of a pass from me, can't argue that DBFZ isn't the best thing to happen to DBZ in the past decade for sure. 2D fighters are fun as fuck and I'd probably enjoy P4A more than original P4 at this point, but they're just the exception to the rule, and the OP is about the writing.

And in terms of writing, Labrys is a fucking awful character. You have a realistic, down to earth setting with a paranormal other-world twist. And you add a robot schoolgirl? It feels too much like they ported Aigis to the P4 world.

but funny accent though. Honestly, having a robot in p4 is just a reason to allow p3 characters in the mix. It's not so much about shoehorning an otherworldly twist so much as an impetus for Mitsuru and Aegis to start caring about Inaba

Cry about it, those are and always will stay canon. The new lore is cool, the new characters are cool as well

jrpg.

What do you mean "P4 world"? The world is shared with P3, even the original, non Golden, release had the Iwatodai school trip in it.
The original game is complete, Atlus is free to mix this shit up now as much as they want. P4 is not a separate universe, never was originally. Sci-fi shit was always there, it's just the cast who never knew about it originally. It always was the part of the world, it wasn't shoehorned in at any point in time.
And I want to marry Labrys as well.

And mitsurus tits are massive

>genuinely original story
JoJo Part 4 x Scooby Doo x Persona 2 x Izanami-Izanagi myth
Nothing about it was original.

Ultimax is better than Arena at least. Story moves at a better pace and isn't just the same shit repeated 12 times with slight differences.

God I want her to use her super on me and repeatedly smash my balls with her high heeled boots.

nothing had combined all those things before. Nobody was brave enough

Combining stolen ideas doesn't make you original, it just makes you a thief of multiple properties.

Writing for the Persona series is comically bad compared to SMT. Teenagers in high school is a tired trope.

You never played 1 or 2.
