The Blood.
Oooooooo the sweet blood
It calls to me
I guess the idea is that with his vision obscured his other senses increase to the point where he doesn't need his eyesight to fight and kill anyone. Add onto the fact that hes Blood Drunk and that heightens them even more.
Smell.
Fear the old blood.
Remember Master Willem willingly blinded himself to gain insight, which incidentally let you see all the monsters.
But really, my guess is small tiny holes in helmet, lol.
poor design, it doesn't matter what anything looks like as long as they have arms to swing at you five times. it's just made to fit the forced aesthetic
in b4 bloodborne faggots come out of the woodwork
>t.
>thinking this negates the rest of the world's design
damn bro should have gone ahead and made every helmet look like black iron melty shit on a demon's hidden head this REALLY ruins my immersion in such a deep game
Ignore these faggots. They don't even know what they're talking about.
As you once did for the vacuous Rom, grant us eyes, grant us eyes. Plant eyes on the inside of our helmets.
The helmet is actually based on an famous existing helmet, however the way that is is worn in the game is an artistic license. But to be fair, the original is missing some parts that makes dificult to some one who isnt familiarized with armors from this period to understand it.
They had eyes on the inside
we won't need eyes where we're going
neat.
They smelled
How much money did blacksmiths make out of forging shit like that?
Look up Filippo Negroli he's considered to be one of if not the greatest blacksmith to have ever lived.
so its daredevil?
thats looks so sick
The familly of the guy that made that was the equivilent of a boeing or northrop grumman of its time, it was national asset to heve them on you side because they controled so much of the armors production. The entire family was involved in the bussines, he would serve making personal requests to the big names while the others would works as deal brokers and managers of large manufaturing centers producing armors by the thousands across italy and even france to outfit armies.
Pic related was not made by his family but it is avaliated to have costed about 5 to 10 million US dollars, plus the price of the gold that was used, to give you an idea of the price of the really high end stuff.
why the pointy feet? you're forced to walk like a duck
its not Souls if there isn't at least one guy who can't fucking see out of his dumb helm
>hasn't embraced style over function
Ngmi
No one probably used that in an actual fight. It's a status symbol. Secondly, knights would generally be mounted, and imagine the knight kicking someone from horseback with those points.
They didn't.
Several characters in bloodborne are missing eyes, have bandages over their eyes or just straight up cover their whole heads. It's something thematically coherent through the whole game.
The nobility was always wearing those stupid shoes, so of course they wanted their armour to have pointy feet as well.
>he hasnt been granted eyes yet
Its enough to make a man sick
It sings to me retard.
