Yes, the Hunting Rifle does more damage when it's fully upgraded, but you can't get its special upgrade until the only bosses left are are Salazar, U-3, Krauser, and Saddler, which effectively means its high damage bonus is useful against only Salazar and U-3. Until that moment, the Semi-Auto's faster firing speed makes it absolutely superior. Furthermore, the Semi-Auto doesn't require you to load a new bullet after each shot, which means missing a shot isn't likely to get you hit by an enemy. The only tangible advantages to the Hunting Rifle are that it's available very early and that it takes up less inventory space.

blacktail takes up less space, aims and shoots faster, and has a higher DPS. the red9 is only good if you want more damage per bullet, but this is pistol ammo we’re talking about... it’s a dime a dozen, it’s not something you should feel like you need to conserve.

was anyone else disappointed by the mine launcher's homing capabilities? It actually felt worse off than before because it would target areas of the zombies I didnt want it to hit, or sometime I was aiming at a certain area to get more range from the explosion and it would curve to the zombie
