Let's date ourselves, boys.
The first game you remember playing
Pokemon Red / Blue
Vaguely remember getting this for free with our families first pc.
Super Mario Land on Game Boy. Magic Carpet was the first game I played on the first PC we ever had.
virtua fighter 2
Descent 1 was my first too, I could play it with higher detail levels though
ExciteBike.
I know for a fact it wasn't Crash 2, but I can't remember what the actual first game I played was.
My uncle gave me his playstation, which is what I played crash on, and I have memories of him playing Intelligent Qube and some diving game.
Whatever it actually was it was probably either early playstation shit with my uncle, or SNES/N64 stuff at a friends house.
And i actually beat it back then
first real game
actual first game is probably space cadet pinball or some other microshaft game
I feel old
Super Mario Land
Alongside Jazz Jackrabbit, but I also remember playing some gameboy games before them.
Sonic 1991
Halo 4
i remember playing it at one of my birthdays and ignoring the 30 people my mom got to come to my house
Donkey Kong on a Colecovision.
good times.
Captain Skyhawk
A handheld (likely downgraded and bootlegged) version of Asteroids on an LCD screen
i think it was mario bros on a polystation, even though im a zoomer i growed playing retro games since i was poor and couldn't afford a real console.
Spectre 3d
Also descent games are underrated they are up there with doom and quake desu
Alien Trilogy on my Dad's PSX. I just remember being both scared and confused because the game was so dark. Playing it on a tiny CRT through RF cables made it almost impossible to see anything.
Some Intellivision game, I think Burger TIme
Not much of a fan of the isometric angle in the remakes
Based, my first real game too.
The pizza place my parents used to take me to had a Cruis'n USA arcade machine I used to play when we would visit. Other than that I remember a couple of DOS games my dad brought home for me one day when I was really young. A flying sim called Jet Fighter III and a submarine sim called Silent Hunter.
Number Muncher on a Macintosh back when I was in elementary school. Or, if we're talking real video games, it was either Super SWIV or Yoshi's Safari.
lame because anyone can post an old ass game and be like "yeah, i played it" and when someone goes "no you didn't zoomer" they will look up shit on YT and go "yeah, i did! i know about XYZ in game!"
or be me, born 85 and my first was fucking SMB, a super generic answer. that or metroid the next year.
Home
based
It was some Football game on the PSX (probably Madden).
Got a Genesis when I was 5 and this was the first game I popped in. I still remember being annoyed by this little fucker to this day.
Hated looking up the codes in the book for the pseudo "cd key".
i remember playing that vaguely. i don't remember much except driving around a bit, but i know it was kino
