What they did was understandable, that's not the same as them being morally justified
Abby got her revenge and it didn't solve a thing for her. She was worse off than she'd been before and didn't actually start healing until she let go of her hate and helped Lev and Yara and let them into her heart. Ellie killing Abby wouldn't have solved a thing for her either
