Why are consoletards pretending the PS5 SSD is fast? We already seen pcie 4 ssds with their 5Gb/s read do not give significant load time reduction on Pc vs a 500MB/s read Sata 3 SSD. Welcome to 2010 ps5 keks.
Why are consoletards pretending the PS5 SSD is fast...

someone post the astroboy or whatever loading webm I forgot to save it
This happens every console gen, newfag. It was like this with the 360/PS3, it was like this with the PS4/XBone, and it's like this now. It's the same old thing. When the PS6 and XThrone come out we'll have this same old song and dance all over again.
Because you're a retard that doesn't know how technology works when utilized properly. PCfags got sold snake oil. SSD will always be useless until devs are forced to used them thanks to consoles.
Consoles are setting the new minimum at 7GB, while all the pc cucks are stuck with their shitty 5GB and below.
PC is irrelevant, though. Nvidia shits out new cards every year but no developer cares lmao
So you’re admitting to holding gaming back?
>while all the pc cucks are stuck with their shitty 5GB and below.
Second-generation PCIe4 drives will average 15 GB/s. First gen caps out at ~8GB/s. But the bus itself remains unchanged - only the drives will be getting better.
PS5 and Xbox are behind from the very start.
Looks like chocolate...
No PC gaming does.
Out of all the Last of Us 2 memes I saw so far this is the best one.
Pc fags with pcie 4 ssds dont even take advantage of the 8GB/s as shown by the barely perceptible speed increase over sata 3 ssd. Console chads are the one to take advatage of it, pc is playing catch up
The damn thing isn't even out yet.
>should be able to fill it's pitiful 16GB of RAM in takes 6 seconds to load a level
thank
Because they are only able to discuss what marketing teams determine that they need to discuss.
Retards are pretending the PS5 is good.
These people dont know what an SSD is.
console plebs are really this delusional lmao
idgi is that supposed to be fast
The funnies shit about this is sonyfags will have to pay fucking extra for sony branded SSD since they won't be able to use anything else and with pitiful 800gb ssd that they get with console you can install like 5 maybe 6 new games at most.
$70 for new game and $300 every 5 games for 1tb SSD.
bold of you to assume next gen games aren't going to be 400gb each
Is already confirmed you can use other SSDs, though.
I'm guessing it's going to be 150-200gb just like Modern Warfare and RDR2.
Maybe at the end of the gen with PS5PRO++ games will be 300-350gb.
>Yes, you will be able to use an existing USB External Drive for PS5, however, you won't be able to directly play PS5 games from it. Instead, you'll be able to store game data there but will need to move it back onto the main drive or a compatible NVMe SSD drive to play it.
Oh no no no no
Sony fans don't realize that sheer asset loading from disk was not the only major pain point of load times.
>pc ssd dont use the full bandwidth of their ssds
>consoles do
Welcome to 2020 ya old fart
>pc has more top of the line features
>user pc $100 prebuild + used 5yo bitcoin mined vga
Kekkekekekeekkekekekekkekekekekekkekeekkekekekeke
>Buy RAM
>Load entire game into RAM
>Enjoy speeds unobtainable by SSDs
I remember this situation quite clearly.
>sure a pc better than the ps5 is better than the ps5, but a pc worse than the ps5 is worse than the ps5!
Ok then.
What the fuck...
>>Load entire game into RAM
Sweet, how much is 128GB of the fastest available RAM?
>Fastest available
DDR3 RAM hits 12GB/s, so we'll use that.
>$200
>makes a point
>got a good response about that point
>no u
