How come the N64 was so...bad? It seems like there's almost no games on the thing. The games also run like ass and the controller is terrible.

dunno lol
Git taste.
Why are you complaining about an outdated console? It was actually good too. Did you even have one way back when it came out?
possibly the worst looking 2D game ever made.
How long until this thread devolves into more 5th gen console warring?
>his parents got him a shitty PS1 instead, and he still hasn't learned to cope
>segmented animated prerendered CG sprites
Yeah I'm thinkin' it's kino.
>dude let's keep focusing on kids games lmao
nintendo lost to playstation for a reason
I had both as a kid but kept the N64 longer because i literally pissed on my PS1 for some reason.
What to play today...
Mario, Zelda, the list goes on....
Perfect Dark.
Meanwhile snoys be like "FF7, MGS, the list goes on....".
Why are you seething about the Playstation?
thps2 or cruisin USA
Consider how the N64 would be regarded if it didn't have just five titles from it's catalogue: Mario 64, OoT, Majora's Mask, Goldeneye and Perfect Dark. Given MM's relation to OoT, and PD's to Goldeneye, we're really talking about just three games.
It would've been regarded as the greatest console failure from a major platform holder of all time, worse than the Dreamcast, Wii U or XBone.
>if a console didn't have its most important and best selling games it wouldn't have been successful
No shit Sherlock.
Ok you obsessed snoy piece of shit. How many anti-n64 threads have you made so far? Fucking autistic shitstain.
The N64 wasn't exactly a success, Nintendo continued to cede ground and shrink in relevance, 100% reliant on review scores. They were basically reduced to one or two major hits a year while Sony was putting out several every month. All while juggling the failed virtual boy, the loss of yokoi, the struggling N64 and the flop that was the DD and its literal dozens of cancelled games. The only thing making them money at the time was pokemon.
>They were basically reduced to one or two major hits a year while Sony was putting out several every month
That absolute snoy delusion.
You weren't alive at the time, don't worry. You can play all those games now, no need to wait.
He makes this thread every day.
Yeah, they didn't target kids as hard as the ps1 did.
Playstation didn't even have Crash Bandicoot until over a year after its release. For its first year Playstation really didn't have dick.
The point is we're talking about just three games. Take the three most successful games from other consoles, they will generally still have more than enough to offer. Take these three from the N64, it becomes akin to the virtual boy.
The difference between the N64 being ridiculously celebrated by nostalgia fags, speedrunners and nintendo fanboys, and it be a blip footnote, is just three games.
Excuse me? I just can't understand wrong opinions
Daily reminder that this faggot is still making threads about the N64, he has a literal illness, just ignore and sage
>while Sony was putting out several every month
Not really, you could stretch that out to third parties releases on the console AT BEST, but not really to that extent, not even close, if you really think that you're deluded and you can't actually give an objective argument in this context.
Sony was kind of shit as a first party in PS1 anyway, and the sucess of the console was because of third parties. Again, if you're deluded enough to ignore that fact then there's nothing I can do for you.
Crash Bandicoot is only a mid-tier PS1 game, but to you it's the biggest threat to Nintendo in the 90s. Really says a lot.
>25 years later
>still butthurt about N64 being the best
How can someone seriously do this every day of their life
