Being wired has never helped me. It's like my ping is stuck @95 which sucks because I used to have sub-40 ping until December when shit just decided it wouldn't work anymore.

Nah thats bs. If you don't play a carry champ youre chances of climbing are left up to chance. Its especially true in lower ranks where your team cannot be relied on to follow up on plays. That being said you can climb from plat to master by playing any champs.

Its riots fault i used to play with ~80ms when it suddenly got to 100+, submitted a ticket and they basically told me "its your isp fault lol" when i get 80ms on every other game, riot routing in latam is trash and they refuse to acknowledge that its their fault, let alone fix it.
i use a gaming vpn that lowers it to ~75 but ive been told changing isp also works

"Meta" doesn't matter jack shit outside of High Diamond/Master and above. If you're good at the game, you can win with almost any champion. And no, you won't be banned for picking "off-meta" unless you get reported so many times that riot's shitty system goes haywire and nabs you, which is a different problem. And not only does "meta" not matter, every few months or so a literal silver could discover what's bullshit overpowered but overlooked or considered trash, and then it becomes the meta. Speaking of which, look forward to Sona+Lux lanes appearing in every game.

If the servers riot uses are far away there's nothing you can do other than move closer to a server.
