The story is set shortly before the heat-death of the universe. Orbits have slowed to a near undetectable rate and all objects with significant mass have been drawn to the closest surviving star, which is cooling and approaching death.
These doomed, stranded planets are all that remains, and the warring inhabitants of lylat pick what remains there are from the debris of the universe while Andross amasses the singular power to survive entropy itself.

If theres one thing indie devs usually suck at, its VA and actually doing memorable dialogue

you're probably right. that might explain why the only indie dev making a star fox style rail shooter is making it more in the style of the original but with 60fps.

They seriously should have let you go to Zoness from Katina. Someone should make a rom hack that lets you do that.

I can't hate on you for liking it. I find it boring. It attempts to add some stress when 3 miles enter the game, but just bomb them.
It's ok to like Katina but Macbeth is definitely 10x more fun than Katina.

I think you missed my point. You'd skip Aquas and go to Katina instead, then from there you'd go to Zoness.
I never skip Macbeth, it's my favorite level.
