Xenoblade. I gave that game such an honest try. There was not even one thing in that game that wasn't retarded. I hated every character and their dumbass outfits so goddamn much. Fuck that game.

This is me right now, about 3 hours in. I just can't bring myself to play any more. The story is uninteresting, the characters are stereotypical anime trash, and the whole thing just reeks of weebshit. I mostly play RPGs so I gave it a shot but god damn its so boring.

i rarely ever play or do not play a game based on what this place says. all i do is see what people say about it, like general opinions and bugs/updates, then play it for myself and judge.

JRPGs recommendations here are something you should especially avoid. Most people only play them for cooming.

It gets better layer on, but yeah it's boring for a pretty long time. Nice story though.

But I bought DBZ: Attack of the Saiyans because people here said it was good user.

I'm playing it right now and it is. Not as good as Buu's Fury because turn based combat doesn't really make sense for the DB series but I do prefer turn based so it still works for me.

Now granted, I looked it up and knew about that ahead of time because I'm not an idiot who blindly listens but that's true of anything. You shouldn't take anyone's advice flat out without verifying shit to make sure you will like it.

Journey tells a story through gameplay through gameplay without words. And it does have some actual gameplay (platforming, stealth and optimizing movement). And even the multiplayer and its mechanics convey a story/theme. Good storytelling is worth noting even if the story itself isn't War and Peace.

I bet she doesn't say that in original script.

it's an RPG with no dialogue elements, in which you and a group of "friends" wander through the great medieval outdoors, using ~5-10 class-based abilities to defeat progressively stronger monsters while gathering crafting ingredients.
Regions of the world map are leveled and calibrated to be balanced challenges if you go through them in the correct order. Enemies respawn.

it's a fucking MMO. It's MMO Party Manager 2012.
