Man, I feel stressed out as bad as when I play fightan online. Also is there a way to change throttle to R2/L2 for AC4?

What's with Japanese game's using fucking timers?
Gotta go fast I guess. Especially since in AC4 you can heal and restock weapons.
Learn to use bombs
Stop playing shitty games that only have a decent soundtrack going for them.
invest in the holy trinity fag
and this isnt AC4 , thats ACX
You better not be using novice controllers.
It's supposed to be an arcade game experience
Dogfighting fucks me up good. I retried Shattered Skies mission like 5 times until I passed with only 30 seconds to spare.
Ehh, turns out the game is actually fun enough for me. It's just having both timers and points in a mission feels overwhelming. The timers are very short as well so far, like less than 10 minutes.
I've finished Skies of Deception/X already. Not gonna touch it again since PSP control is ultra jank. Currently playing through AC4 with PCSX2.
>holy trinity
What's that?
The important thing I saw in the Settings is just reverse Y-axis
AC4,AC5,AC0
TEN MILLION LIVES
>>holy trinity
>What's that?
The PS2 games. Although 5 is worse than 6, 7, JPN3 and AHL.
you shut the fuck up 5 is the best
Dogfighting barely exists in 4 because "lol just QAAM it." As for timed mission bombs might help you clean up stuff fast.
Dude lmao scripted missions
QAAM has been fucked in every game. It's even meta in AC7 multiplayer with lv2 homing.
Haven't got the planes with it yet. Is it really OP?
I can somewhat manage air-to-ground with guns and bombs but shooting down faster planes like the SU-37 Yellows is hard as hell.
Its kinetic energy user. And thrusters/air brakes. Try and keep an altitude advantage unless you are shoving a missile into a thruster. With more altitude you have more potential kinetic energy.
You cant kill yellow but you can hurt him and make the squadron disengage.
If you are behind the enemy missiles arent a problem.
QAAM is known for being gamebreaking in Ace Combat

You arent supposed to chase the yellows until the comona mission iirc. I mean you can take them down but it is not recommended on the first run since they just evade everything.
>AC X controls bad
I dont fucking get it. It was one of my first game on PSP and I being PCtard I've never use console controks before. Yet, the only two missions that gave me any control related problems was the one when you have to spray some magic liquid over toxic gas and where you need to fly inside some retarded bunker. The rest was just a matter of not being ADHD idiot and/or choosing right plane for a job. And maybe tuning it with some extra parts if that was experimental.
If you're emulating you can rebind the controller.
like all the other ac games? are you a retard?
its a fucking mission based console serirs
so almost every ace combat?
I don't understand what you were saying but I'll keep
>Try and keep an altitude advantage
in mind
Thanks for the heads up, user
More altitude=greater potential dive=potential kinetic energy
Gaining altitude expends kinetic energy, thats why you typically use thrusters so assist your climb, these rules apply to bandits too.
It is very easy to "roll in" on an enemy below you. Flip your plane belly up and then pitch up. Use this dive speed to zero in on your target, you want to level out with him at his altitude, nose to ass. Fox 2 and climb for another "roll in".
Dive and extend away when you are overwhelmed, break for missle locks but keep your general heading. When you are extending out you can "loop in" on a bandit following you, make it a bigger, grander loop and cut in when you see an angle.
Jets in AC are front firing vehicles (except bombs) meaning, you have to be facing your target to hit it.
>>Not good at flight games
ah yes "flight games" that massive genre.
>kinetic energy
AC isn't a sim; it doesn't take that sort of stuff into account.
If you nose down you gain speed. But yes physics like that dont play nearly as big a roll. The techniques are still valid though, or the general idea.
AC6 is tied for being the best AC.
Anyone who actually played the game start to finish instead of being a subhuman two-digit IQ retard who lets other people decide his opinions for him and believes everything he hears if it means he can indulge in group outrage knows this.
