Best civ game? what game should i start with if i never played this series?
Other urls found in this thread:
civ 2 is great if you are into retrogaming, civ 4 is many fans favourite, it has plenty of features with expansions, my personal favourite is modding civ v to have civ 4 diplomatic features like vassals
civ 6 is shit
Best is Civ4 but 5 or 6 is easier to get into.
i might add, hex tiles and no unit stacking make combat much more satisfying in civ v than 4
All mainline games are weaker than Alpha Centauri and Call to Power
youtube.com
5 would be the best if not for faulty MP.
4 has content but is unimpressive compare to actual strategy games.
6 is shit.
if I were you id start with 4
Best Civilization game is Civilization II.
Most people can't get past the interface.
Second best game in the series is Civilization IV.
Civ 5 is is a finely polished piece of shit.
Civ 6 is diarrhea.
4 > 2 > 6 > 3 > 1 > 5
im still mad about hexes
Stop being a square faggot
Based
civ 3 > civ 1 > civ 2 > civ 4 > civ 6 >>>>>> civ 5
6 because it's the newest so it has the best graphics.
Also acceptable opinion
>Call to Power
*Call to Power 2
Civ 4 with mods, Civ 3 if you prefer something that isn't 3D, 5 is okish, stay away from 6, its shit
>Civ 6 over any other civ
what an absolute shit taste you have user
>when game puts you in such deranged state you put its objectively shittier sequel above it
V da bess
Eat it squares
>want to play Civ 5
>cross bow rush
>cross bow rush
>cross bow rush
>cross bow rush
>cross bow rush
>uninstall
Wow so deep.
civ 6 is the prettiest (not the leaders tho)
>spamming axemen and catapults is the peak of human intelligence
V is objectively the worst civ game ever, only babby duck retards who didnt play any civ game until V released like it
*demolishes you with chariot archers before you ever get to crossbows*
but i grew up with civ 2 and i like 5 best
>muh made up anecdotal experience
V was only bad at release
I played 2 before most people on this board were born.
Whats the proper government type order that you must follow to win on deity?
How do you beeline to the tech required to build the wonder necessary for early as possible communism?
Why is early communism required to win on deity?
Dominions 5.
i usually play on king actually, i enjoy smashing my opponents and painting the map without struggling too much
I never had to tryhard shit on diety in Civ2, because my localized version reintroduced the transport glitch, lmao.
You one of those casuals that play games on normal with small map and fewest number of enemies?
Do you even play with raging barbarian hordes?
i do play on normal but on a huge map with as many civs as possible and the standard amount of barbarians
and i usually go for science victory
You don't know the basic game mechanics, as if I am talking to a kid that played Age of empires on his daddies computer with photon man.
Old World.
You seem to put civ into BIG THINK category.
Its really a shallow game in the mainline and the only way to play on diety is to game the game back.
You will not impress nobody, and deep in back of your head you know it as well.
You post your filthy casual opinions as if they have any weight.
No wonder you love casualized hexshit the most, it was made for simpletons as you'are'selfie.
casual or not casual the combat in civ v remains the most satisfying, fuck stacks, fuck diagonal movement, i still play civ 2 from time to time but only for the sake of nostalgia, it isn't better by any stretch of the imagination
yeah i bet your paradox map painting games are a lot more """"""""complex"""""" and """""""""deep""""""" than the civ games i play man
fuck off
