Good riddance

>IS this good for SF6 or bad?
Let's see
>SFxT was shit
>MvC:I was shit
>SFV was shit
>Deep Down never came out
You tell me

I thought sfxt was pretty fun. The business practices for the game were shit tho

It doesn't matter if you thought the game was fun at launch or after the patches. The launch was botched as fuck that the game was a flop with no major support from the community, and it was soiled to the point that Tekken vs. Street Fighter never came out. It is objectively, a failure.

Game development isn’t one man

And a team needs a leader

Definitely good.

A producer being tied to multiple projects that ended up being failures doesn't say anything positive about him.

he's probably working on a new fighting IP for bandai-namco now

lol nobody will have him. Only reason why Capcom didn't fire his ass personally is because you can't do that in Japan. He'll probably retire or go on doing something irrelevant. He's been a blight and a joke on Capcom fighting games for more than a decade.

Just watch SFVI being just as bad as SFV.

Why on Earth would they scoop him up?

The rumors of him fucking up that SF6 alpha were true then, I guess. The last fucking straw after the botched release of SFV in general and the overall hatred of the game and its shit mechanics that rewards unga bunga as if it was a rushdown anime fighter.

>The rumors of him fucking up that SF6 alpha were true then
lol what were they? how can you fuck up an alpha

The only good game he made was 3S which came after two blunders and SF4 would have been a massive blunder if Seth Killian didn't step in.

>The only good game he made was 3S
He had nothing to do with that.

now if only they could fire their fucking art department.

I thought the only reason 3S was made was because he begged Capcom for another chance?

Thank god this fucker is getting axed. Cunt deserves the worst for screwing up the MvC IP

>ono
>3s

He wanted to make it a team based fighter or something

You act like you play the game, bitch nigga.

Are you legitimately retarded? 3 is the reason Capcom abandoned Street Fighter. There wasn't an SF game until nearly 10 years later.
You're thinking of IV.

He's just a producer. What made the games he oversaw good was never him.

Hmm, it's possible they'll have Ono as advisor for future SF characters on Tekken. Or maybe even for TxSF which never happened.

He was the sound producer for 3S. Which was one of the most memorable things from that game

Harada is leaving Namco
They are going to launch a kickstarter together
That is all

Ono you sly dog, is that you?

then he shouldn't be blamed for games turning out bad either

That's not true really, SF A3 was one of their biggest successes after every other SF after 2.
3 alone did not sink the entire franchise, 3 and 2nd impact did pretty poorly even in Japanese arcades but 3rd Strike did notably better.
It was a flop but other factors were the ones that made Capcom quit their fighting game division such as how the arcades were losing popularity in the rest of the world and how Resident Evil became their new gold making machine.

>There wasn't an SF game until nearly 10 years later.
You had EX3 lmao.

Just checked the shit this guy worked on... dear god... SFxT, MvCI and SFV

Thank god this "man" will never hurt fighting games again

>implying Marvel and Disney didn't fuck up MvCI
>implying Capcom didn't rush SFV
