>Hajimari no Kiseki will be our last title that uses the Trails of Cold Steel game engine (the Sony-made PhyreEngine). The next Trails will use a new engine. The new game engine [developed internally by Falcom] has far superior visual performance than the previous one. There is a possibility we will remake previous titles in the future, and I would like to use the new engine if we do.
>falcum >the retards that can't even code multiplats >the idiots that can't even make the target platform version run at reasonable fps. resolution, assets, etc >these shucklefucks are making their own engine when everyone just uses ue4 now Haha
Damn, it looks like a late PS2 game. I'm so happy for Falcom, they're actually learning.

They are massive sony fanboys. Sonys own engine has become to rusty even for them but justs witching to unity or ue4 would mean easy multiplat support. I 99% guarantee you this selfmade engne of theirs will only support ps4 and ps5.

That's right reanfags, break in that new engine for your master CHADOL.

It's almost creepy seeing those characters now having actual animations.
youtube.com/watch?v=LuPkbBSSQF0 can't tell if Falcom were too embarrassed about CS3&4 openings or proud of their mocap to make the opening comprised of in game scenes
