I actually have stretch marks because I was severely underweight and had a huge growth spurt when I hit puberty (I'm 6'5" now). People are always surprised because I was never fat. The good news is that I'm so black that it's barely noticeable. But this user is right Stretch marks are disgusting.

Haven't played harvest moon in ages but from what I remember you have do to quests in order to progress. In animal crossing you can just play it anytime and shut it off. There's no forced story (not saying that it's bad but there's no story to follow in order to unlock stuff). AC is a simulation game while Harvest Moon is more like a sim/adventure game.

Having stretch marks isn't a fault, and also not the slightest bit interesting.

Benign skin conditions and shit like stretch marks and scars are both super common and something other people don't give a shit, but given individuals are usually self conscious about/think other people do give a shit. It's an easy check off for some brownie points to tack on a couple of those traits to try and emphasize just how accepting and inclusive you are when it comes to character design.

I have a cousin with vitiligo and every time I would go to their house my mom would always remind me not to mention it. It’s real shitty as far as skin conditions go. They’ve just got like coffee stains if niggardry all over their body, and not even in a cool way like tiger stripes. Feel bad for them, really. They weren’t even born with a condition that could get them like a cool prosthetic or a wheelchair.

That's only in the latest game tho. The other ones he will just appear. And you literally get that just by playing the game normally. Just decorating your island and planting some flowers will bring have him appear.
