3 feels more like a sequel to 1 than 2 does so youll probably love it. Except there are some plot elements from 2 that you might need to know, like Olimar's new company ship instead of his kino Dolphin

I'm happy with my WiiU version and I doubt the controls will be as good since the original game made great use of the gamepad to really let you manage all the captains simultaneously.

Where are you seeing this? If it were only easy mode they wouldn’t have said difficulty settings, just easy mode.

99% of multiplayer today is done using online, so I don't see the problem. Also, single screen multiplayer in a game that requires constant pausing to change commands would make for a clunky multiplayer experience.

the fact that the port to that old starwars racing game actually uses "splitscreen" as a selling point in its ad, really made me question where gaming went wrong.

I couldn't care less about the game but the game was born as a local multiplayer experience.
People wanted a remake for a long time and now that it's happening SE removes the point of the original version? Of course people complain.

Already bought and predownloaded. Can't wait! I'm caught between playing it by myself on hard mode first or playing it coop on normal mode with my wife. She's never played any pikmin before but I know she's gonna enjoy it
