Okay, here's my pitch for a /mon/ game
All the monsters are female and breeding works by you actually breeding with them
You can earn money by selling the babies as well
gotta add Moko Moko Friends
Does that IP really have a game? I though all it had was a gatcha.
...
I want more games to limit the number of monsters you can get of a species like Fossil Fighters. I understand there is an appeal to catching a bunch of the same kind to try to find the one with the best skills and stats, but I would rather work with what I got and try to make the best of it.

It really annoys me when these types of games have that "monsters are our friends not weapons" spiel, but not live up to it.
Let's talk Digimon virtual pets, which ones do you hope to get made/imported next?
Didn't this have aliens you could capture? Like, they were humanoid dinosaurs, and one was a girl that turned into a blue velociraptor? Or was that another game?
It was this game.
Thought so. Managed to find them too. We need more cool shit like that in video games.
guys, i fucking love Yokai Watch 3
I love how it gives the feeling that all the monsters in this saga are joke monsters until your team in the endgame is a group of absolute bastards ancient deities and kings of the underworld and cuties
If that rumor from with the will turns out to be true, I hope the ver.X 1, 2, and 3 aren't region-locked. I bought one of each in case this happens, and if I can't get the connection bonuses it would be a big disapointment.
Is this game actually good? I remember liking it when I was a kid but I don't know how it holds up.
the first two are good the third killed the series
>suggestions aren't even being added to the list
shit thread; kys
What better demonstration of friendship than looking out for your bro?
Monster racers are a thing. Cope.
Highly recommend Disc Creatures. It's a very comfy little jap backyard adventure, has a lot from Pokemon but brings enough unique mechanics to the table.
Actually having one. My issue is that whenever a game does that, it almost never feels like there is a friendship. Just have a few cutscenes were the player character and a monster actually be friends or make it so I can treat my monster good and get rewarded, and treat it bad and get punished.
How do you make a monster that's just a human good?
rely on atmosphere

When Mon games have a fusion mechanic do you like it better when it's reserved for a few combinations or when you can fuse any two or more monsters together?
Do you really recommend it at its current price?
I like the game too, but I would say one should wait for a sale or something first.
Do you think auxiliary content like manga and tv shows helps these kinds of games? Not just because they're advertising it, but they can flesh out the game's world and show off monsters people may miss or otherwise ignore?
Might get temtem on ps5
This was a huge disappointment even though I don't like spectrobes that much.
There will be no viable pokemon competitor until they get the multiplayer component right
is anyone kind of hopeful for this? what's even releasing this year?
