Thought5s? I haven't got a tghrought for this shitgame. I pay it NO minds,. no real estate in my brain. MNo memorie3s, no thoughts, no opionions. I tsucks

i used to live in novosibirsk, the city that appears in the end of the game
that's pretty much it

haven't played it yet but i own it. waiting for 3000 series gpu to come out so i can get 144 fps maxed out at 1440p

shit. can't even be bothered to pirate it bc of the huge file size

how high are you dude?

Its nice, but not really a real metro game. I unironically take it as a spin off.

Honestly, it saddens me that we will never get something as nice and comfy with the vibes of 2033. Last Light was hollywood tier garbage by the ending, the new models for people from older games sucked. Why did they turn Khan into a hippie???
Exodus is just not really a " metro " game, despite being pretty acceptably nice. Optimization is shit though.

I really enjoyed it. Great atmosphere, and themes that lean towards tradition. Very immersive in its exposition as well, like when you hear Anaa arguing with her father about Artyom's activities. Would Artyom linger behind the door and eavesdrop, or barge in and cut the gossip short. Very subtle but meaningful moments like that keep downtime interesting

Extremely mediocre and just felt let down, huge disappointment for me. After the first chapter things got stale since the novelty of cool gun design and gunplay in general wore down. It then had nothing to really keep me want to play since the story was shit.
I'd rather re-play Metro 2033 or Last light again. I wish they just adapted the 2035 book instead, not what comes after.

The worst entry in a series that was always a poor man's STALKER.

I loved it, though I felt the open world aspect was strongest in Volga and they didn't try as hard in the later sections. Then it just becomes linear again at the end.

They're completely different games though? The fuck are you on about.

and the award for most retarded post I have read all day goes to you fellow user

The worst one by a country mile. Ditches almost everything that made the previous two Metro games worthwhile, and only really succeeds at being STALKER-lite for one level (the first one)
Also has basically zero paranormal shit past the first level too, which is extra disappointing. The mutant design sucks major ass and the only spooky non-reality-conforming shit is a whopping one anomaly and another like, half one. No shadows, no weirdo shit, no nothing.

They even have a room that's almost verbatim pic related and all it is, is another fucking spider section that you already played the best of back in Last Light.

That's gonna always be a factor with Deep Silver.

Also I liked it even as a Metro game, it felt like a 'logical conclusion' to Artyom's tale sort of.

Novosybirsk is kino

Sadly it's the last part of the game and not done justice.

I liked sniping in the desert, that was a fun element not really seen in previous games due to the claustrophobic nature of the tunnels. Volga was also cool with the snow. I liked the open world concept, but I wish they had marked places of interests a little better on the map. The game looks real nice and the environments feel good.
However, it is so badly optimized. My PC has never run this hot on any game, and I play Warzone on max settings easy. Constant bugs, like the one where the camera would pop into the ceiling in the car. Couldnt play it with two screens, always had to disable one. At some point I kept getting bluescreens whenever I tried to play, and after a graphics card driver update the game would just keep crashing, without the bluescreeens this time at least, but I never finished it. Anna was incredibly uninteresting as a character, every conversation felt like a chore.

OP back with another question
how hard is it, and does it have the same "morality" system as the last one?

Finished it past week. Loved 2033 and LL, Exodus is ok but Volga and Novosibirsk are pure bliss.

Its really worth a go, kinda like a summer novel. Somewhat of an ending for Artyom

This

The outcome of each level, which is mostly just wether a certain character will survive or not, does depend on your actions during the game, how many you people you kill vs knock out etc.
So yeah, just like the last games.

played this right after last light, pretty boring its obvious studio doesnt give a fuck about anything other than money. They removed unique metro settings with bullet currency for open world crafting trash

Its shit. The best parts of the game were the areas where you had the least freedom. Metro was not meant to be shitty open world

Very nice.
Each level is a believable post apoc society.
made up religion zealots, mad max style slavery, inawoods lifestyle

damn i hated that in the previous ones
i dont like games moralfagging me into boring stealth

killing niggers doesnt affect it, except for taiga

Game was like 9 euro on sale and you want to pirate it kek

I didnt even conciously make "moral" decisions and I got the good ending, so I think youre good. Just dont kill any non-bandits, knock em out if whoever you can. Often knocking them out is the better option anyway; shooting them costs ammo and could be heard.

In other games, you could easily kill everyone you wanted to and still gather enough moral points to get the good ending. Go to the " Moral Points " wiki page for details.

In Exodus, you are forced into the non lethal playstyle.

Pretty good, really liked the train
Crafting was kinda shallow though

I played this to test out my new PC this summer, and it blew my mind ( and GPU *got a 90fps average @ 1440p RTX off running HOT! ). The atmosphere, art direction, story, characters.. Just good stuff all around, and anyone that says that it sucks ( especially compared to 90% of other modern AAA games ) is full of it. I have the DLC wishlisted - hope I can get both 'episodes' for like $10. I tried to go back and play Redux, but my PC sounds like a F16 when I have it locked to 144fps :(
