FFXIV is the result of Japanese devs taking an actually soulful game and dumbing it down to be more like WoW to appeal to a wider audience.

If it came with a year's subscription, I would. But even getting the game when it's on discount with a year subscription puts it at like over $100, and I don't like the game enough to pay $100 for it.

The regular quests also suck dick and are the most boring quests of any mmo on the market. I would rather do shitty farming chores for Hobbits in lotro than complete another quest in ffxiv

I haven't played an MMO in years so I've been having fun with it although it's kinda lonely with no guild/friends.
