My teacher, huge conspiracyfag, loved it, and most of my classmates either were really interested or were laughing at the word "maymay," or were surprised a game used that word all the way back in 2001 (I did the presentation in 2009.)
I got laid in junior year and got into a good college, but my life is a mess. 17-22 were the best years of my life.

Ran the presentation off my laptop and had LIMBO running in the background so I could alt-tab to it and talk about the art design while I played through one of the light/dark sections. People loved it, got full credit. No regrets.

My sister is studying psychology and a dude made a presentation about hentai and the prevalence of incestuous hentai specifically and how it related to the Japanese population based on a freudian point of view. It sounds cringe but my super normalfag sister found it extremely interesting and even asked me some very uncomfortable questions like "are you familiar with hentai?". I think it's not all that bad. If you make a good point and your presentation is good people will look past the initial shock value.
