Actually I believe there may be a direct on 8/20. The contents of the greenpost being true I have no idea.
But a game I've been following the development for, named Phoenotopia, is releasing on the switch the same day.
I looked back at an earlier direct and one of the games and a game called One Step From Eden was displayed in the direct and released the same day. The thing is the release date for OSFE was also announced before the direct was announced.
