Yeah, I'm thinking this is the definitive version of 64 right now

>He doesn't have the PC port
Still seems so weird that this game had a playable Wario
The definitive version will be the PC port that utilizes all the source uncompressed audio and visuals from the leak.
I get why people don't like this game, but i still don't get how can anyone shit on this gem
it fucking is and only boomers disagree
>my analogue stick
I agree with you fat fuck
jesus christ
Because it couldn’t possibly top the masterpiece that as Uoshi’svisland. Still a great game though
I never got the complaints about the d-pad, it takes a few minutes to adjust and then you're busting all the old 64 moves like you were born to do it on the DS. You're a pussy if you can't.
Also the minigames, come the fuck on. Mario 64 + new content, on the go, in 2004? Such a good game.
64DS's mechanics and new additions were good enough for a completely new game. I would've loved something like that if they had done it.
Dangerously based
Dude you can’t even move properly. Even on 3ds you can only move in 8 directions. It’s literally unplayable lmao
This game is a god damn beauty. I have more good memories with Mario 64 DS than I do with people. The people who complain about the D-Pad controls should re-evaluate their lives because if they can't control Mario 64 DS they damn well can't be expected to control their lives. At some point they'll wind up couch surfing at their (annoyed) friends house, in debt that they can never pay off, smoking dope and watching crime dramas because "I'm SO much smarter that this detective lmfao clearly Ms Sheffield murdered the kid by spiking his koolaid with cyanide". Moral of the story, D Pad controls were fine, players were just bitches.
zoomers need to be gassed
8 directions is too much for you to handle, eh?
This is the coverup game for all the fucked up super Mario 64 stuff
terrible shit remade music and stages
I think this might be the overrated game ever made. The only good thing about Mario 64 is it’s glitches and it’s movement for the time. So how about WE TAKE BOTH OF THISE THINGS AWAY.
“M-muh minigames”
You can play them in NSMB
“M-muh characters”
They are either worthless or break the game. The fact you can use all the power ups with Mario or have stars that need those shorty characters is shit.
“M-muh camera”
Still sucks
“M-mug graphics”
Really nigger?
It’s shit, just like the original except without the benefit of being revolutionary.
Fuck off, millennial. Zoomers are based.
>People are actually defending the gimped movement by saying "git gud"
You can master every input in this game and it still wouldn't feel as good as the original, as it was designed with an analog stick in mind, not a D-Pad or a fucking touch screen. you might as well defend playing FPS with a controller while your at it.
The "problems" the game has are forgivable just for the fact that its portable Mario 64.
Also playing as Wario and is fun and anyone who says otherwise is a wiener.
Unironically based. The DS version is amazing and if you think otherwise it's because you haven't played it.
>BUT IT HAS MORE CONTENT
>all tiny little levels where your hand is held to find silver stars
>minigames from NSMB
The bosses were unique, at least.
>"oooh it doesn't feel good daddy, it doesn't matter that mehanically you can do literally every single thing the original game can, it just doesn't feel good in my handsies!!!!"
lmao what a faggot.
>it's glitches
>it's movement
>THISE
>IESLB
Vacate POSTHASTE.
The original DS's D-Pad is one of the greatest D-Pads ever made, so it makes sense that Litelets got filtered by the controls.
Having shit controls in a game all about movement is fucking inexcusable
There are no source uncompressed audio and visuals for SM64 in the gigaleak. However, people have found the source photographs for Mario 64 textures, most of the original stock sounds used for sound effects, and a good portion of the sources for the instruments, too.
Anyone here played Diddy Kong Racing on DS? It got similar criticisms for having to control with the d-pad
DKR on DS had the far greater issue of forcing you to blow into the mic to get a head start on the boat. I was legit winded trying over and over again to beat the octopus.
Anyone seriously complaining about using a D-pad to control a 3D game on DS is legit coddled. Every other console in the 5th gen + PC had D-pad as standard, so going back to it on DS was more than fine for me.
Anybody who thinks YIDS is particularly weak hasn't played YNI yet. And even that game has some special levels that almost make up for the rest of the game being too easy.
the movement plays like microwaved leftovers
I used the thumbnumb, cuz I'm not a heathen
