I worked last year in a tech company and my contract wasn't renewed for some reason.

I just knew that adulthood would never be as good as my childhood. So I started to count down the years I had left to be happy.
Didn't really work out the way I thought it would, as life started getting shitty around age 15 and only got worse from there.
Eventually I started to sleep through most days until I woke up and I was an adult. By that point I was too mentally weak to kill myself so I kept living. Not much of a life though.
I don't have a story of how the world was awful to me since birth and that created my suicidal tendencies. I was just aware that everything that made my life worth living was going to go away. My friends, my family, my hopes, I believed it would all disappear, and it did.
So I'm in the exact position that I imagined I would be in when I was a kid. Alone.
