My summer car.

any rts

Dota 2
I'm confused why I'm still playing it

snoy moviegames confuse the living fuck out of me

I just cant understand the amount of snoy you need to have in your system to sit there and watch videogame movies like an impotent nu-male

Life

Cs go, I was global in wingman then I became legendary eagle after losing one game and then silver elite 3 and I’ve been stuck there ever since

Assasin's Creed.

I just don't understand how normalfags can't get enough of this dreck

any metroidvania style game. i just don't find them fun and it always amazes me they are so popular

yeah man, i get you on this. basically any ubisoft game always end up boring the shit out of me. once you get accustomed to the gameplay (which is typically as shallow as a puddle), there is not much on offer except for a world of pointless collectables and a trite storyline. i think the people who like those games are popcorner munchers who like seeing cool shit happen instead of, you know, actually playing a good game

Ubi shits

VVVVVV
not in a bad way though, what I mean is that it's such a simplistic/short game with no real message or deep story to it, but it has a shit ton of indescribable charm that makes it into one of my top 3 favorite games

Final Fantasy VIII

Chrono Cross
I still love it, even if it's confusing

III was the last good game, minus the "modern" parts.

All contemporary Ubisoft games are shit.
Remove the padding and you're left with less than 5 hours of actual gameplay that isn't just trying to keep you busy with meaningless repetitive tasks. On top of that, the story is always horribly predictable shit written by and for 13-year-olds.

I had more fun looking up the actual history on Wikipedia than playing the latest AC game and I used to fucking hate history classes back in school.

night in the woods is a game that confused me, all her dreams lead nowhere and the endgame was a cult of conservatives? im not following what's the connection

>meaningless base building
>you're the bad guy all along intro
>Stargate precursor alien temple bullshit

There was so much wrong with that game.

grand strategy and shit like that, it's a combination of being a brainlet and just not caring enough to learn

V or OLDTV as they call it now.

It's just Simon Says with a tweest but retards on Steam cream their pants over cyan not being blue or some shit.

The Legend of Zelda 2. I just want to get it over with already.

Right now, Disco Elysium.
Everywhere I go, the game dumps me more lore and weird prose in my lap. I barely made any advancement at all and I keep getting more and more "quests" out of nowhere, and the best part? My "morale" is at 1, and occasionally I stumble into situations where I get a morale penality, and therefore a game over right then and there.
It's kind of charming in a way, but it's mired way too deep in a bog of weird self-serving tangents. It feels like the game equivalent of a kaleidoscope, but it still holds you accountable for performing well and every time I think I'm getting my bearings the game throws me a curve ball.

what i never understood was
>trying to rank up
>takes like 20 wins in a row
>decide to troll on other account
>lose a bunch of games in a row
>dont rank down
>do this on my main account
>goes down after i lose 1 game

gaben 2smart

MMORPG's

Fucking classes, crafting, the skills, it's all too much and I care so little for it. I tried ESO there this week, and on the outside it looks like something i'd like. Then I played it and my character was firing a bow like a machine gun at endlessly re-spawning goons as their health bar depleted, then i leveled up and closed the game. I just don't see the appeal.

Pro tip user: Even if you have 1 morale you can save yourself with pills(I think it's magnesium that heals morale?). You get a prompt to use it before morale damage kills you.

WoW. I tried it for 2 months and I still don't get what people see in it, everything is so confusing, weird, and lame. You solo dungeons like it's nothing, quests make no sense, group content makes no sense either

Ori 2 don't get me wrong I loved the first one but like wtf am I supposed to do...I've been stuck wandering around for ages, also fuck hollow knight

It is really good but at the same time an anomaly. Have you played the guys other game Don't Look Back? Has an actual story and is really short. I think it's free to play for mobile

On that note, Ori is a game that I didn't get the appeal of.

holy shit that looks rage inducing. We need a proper sequel. or a remake.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

I like the concept but everything about the game just feels counter intuitive

same. i dropped the series after that fucking mind-boggling cliffhanger in Brotherhood. i have to assume the story's become even more of a clusterfuck since then. glad i jumped ship when i did.

At least one that at the very least spawns you at the beginning of a dungeon. Or the enemies drop health instead of having to decide between using your magic for health regen or for necessary points in the game.

how long did you play it for? i tried to get into stalker (shadow of chernobyl) twice. the first time i played for about 2 hours and dropped it with the conclusion of "i don't get it". i played it again 2 or so years ago and stuck with it and ultimately loved it. it's a game where you really have to afford it some time for the atmosphere and the world to suck you in. there's this particular bit that spooked the fuck out of me and i couldn't stop playing after that.

Any plot in MGSV missions that has nothing to do with directly fighting Skull Face. I don't care about SANR or UNITA or the 17th War Profiteer or the Pale Frenchman or some such shit, I just wanna find Skull Face and get revenge only to be shafted by Kojima leaning into the "subvert expectations" trend that is sheer cancer.

the jank is part of the appeal. the game's more fun when you play on higher difficulties and embrace the tense cat-and-mouse combat where one stray bullet can basically end you. mods can help too. i personally like the Complete mods, but apparently the trve STALKER fans frown upon that one.
