I know the game can't possibly make even 10% of what GTA makes them, but it still has to be a decent amount of money. Just letting the game be a broken mess for so long when everyone knows GTA would get fixed in 5 minutes is infuriating. Do they really not care about negative PR enough to basically say they don't give a shit about the state of the game at all? There are some bugs that have been in since day one, but a way to earn money slightly faster than intended will get patched in two hours. How the fuck has Rockstar fallen so far?

I never had a crash or those disconnects on pc. I think problems are mostly on console especially on ps4. Also, I just started playing and it’s been comfy so far.

I can almost guarantee it makes even less than that. Rockstar thought they could recreate the success of GTAO with Red Dead Online, but children and hoodrats only care about a modern setting where they can be a virtual gangster. I think red dead is a fantastic game, even the online has been enjoyable for me but there's just so much missed potential. Where is the actual criminal roles or in general player interactivity. Even the little player interactivity that is in the game is discouraged. Bounty hunters can hunt players with a 20$ bounty, but they already get hunted by npc's starting from 10$ and to make matters worse a lot of activities can't be done when having a bounty of 10+ making it even less likely that people don't just pay it off.

The update itself fixed animal spawns you retard, it fixed everything. The only issue was legendary animal spawn rates where super fucking low so people complained, then they rolled out a quick fix that fucked up the game for some people.
Also the game hasn't been unplayable at all, it's just more like it was a few months ago with disconnects, I can still do a daily challenge or to.
It sucks that the game isn't how it was when the update first dropped, but i hate nothing more then you fake outrage retards, fuck off.

There was an update, it had broken animal spawns (the legendary animals), they patched it, game is now in the worst state it has ever been. RS had to acknowledge it in a tweet when they are usually competently radio silent if at all possible. Way to out yourself as a shill retard.

There where no broken spawns, they spawns worked as intended, they where simply very low and this is why people complained. I personally got shit from spawn online legendaries and so have tons of people.
For the patch, they improved the rate of spawns, and this patched fucked up the game. The game is still playable as is, it just has more frequent disconnects on ps4 where i play, it's not some unseen nightmare, it's literally how it was a few months ago, except now animal spawns are fixed.

Multiplayer is usually trash for literally every game. The only ones that managed to make it is when the entire development process is centered around the multiplayer and it's usually some sort of competitive matchmaking shit. Rockstar's a single-player developer. forced to tack on some kind of multiplayer for investors. If you purchase their game and you're wanting the most value out of it you need to realize you need to be putting time into their single player campaign. Whatever the fuck multiplayer CDPR decides to drop in the future for 2077 will probably also be trash. It's just how this shit works.
