OP, the frame rate is horrendous.

I was one of the few people who was actually excited for this game and thought the E3 demo a year ago looked good, but everything I've seen from the beta looks disastrous. That shovelware Switch game pretending to be Ultimate Alliance wasn't even this bad, so it's saying a lot.

I’m currently playing the beta right now and the sheer amount of bugs and performance issues is awful. Worse than MUA3 honestly and I had more fun playing that despite its performance issues.

This game is unironically the definition of “soulless” compared to the Arkham games and Spider-Man PS4

I sincerely hope the full game has more enemy variety than just AIM robots because that's incredibly fucking boring. Also, it desperately needs a much larger roster of playable characters because I'm already bored of the footage of Iron Man, Hulk, and Ms Marvel I've seen. Spider-Man and Hawkeye are coming eventually, but a shallow beat em up like this desperately needs dozens of characters to remain somewhat fresh. That is the only thing that really made the Ultimate Alliance games bearable because the gameplay itself was never that special. But being able to play tons of different characters and mix and match teams made it fun. This does not seem to have that going for it...

I played the beta all weekend last week and Iron Man was significantly more fun than the other characters. In fact he was the only fun character.

Not impressed. Flight only feels satisfying in an open world if its limited in some way, like if it's only accessible via a vehicle you need to hijack or if you can only do it for a limited amount of time.

Free flying just feels lame and boring since all you have to do is point to where you want to go and wait. Shit like driving cars, super speed or web swinging at least forces you to plan routes and interact with the open world.

Playing as Iron Man and dabbing on the other non flying characters in the beta was fun.
