Japanese steel folded a billion times does nothing against superior european steel
He's a ninja

no?

I reckon you never used gravity in Dark Souls?
>Come back to the boss after thinking I needed some skill unlocked
>Still can't beat the fucker
>Get him near a ledge once but nothing happened
>Goes on for way too fucking long
>Game knows I'm retarded and just tells me how to beat it
I'm glad I made one of the testers happy I guess
>"W-W-WOAH SHINOBI, ARE YOU TRYING TO KNOCK ME OFF DESU?"
>samurai
>wolf
>a samurai
LOL
I got stuck because I thought I was supposed to use the armor-stripping spear to strip off his armor
i honestly ended up looking it up. i kept trying to use the spear to get his armor off, because the game kept mentioning 'armor-stripping' and there's those two enemies talking about how 'that armor may come off easier than you think' on that one bridge outside Ashina castle. one of them even drops the key to get the spear. i genuinely thought i was being clever desu.
This
After 3 Deathblows, he quite literally tells you how to defeat him, as if Wolf was trying to the whole time and not the player (read: me) being retarded
Samurai and knights aren’t honorable. Thats the reason why they dont exist anymore.
>honorabru samurai
what
>>>samurai
L-Lewd
>Thats the reason why they dont exist anymore.
no that would be firearms, the great (and relatively inexpensive) equalizer
That's just bad game design.
...
Samurai were as honorable as knights
Which is to say none of them where honorable. They were backstabbing pieces of shit romanticized by fags
they were a mixed bunch
there were some who wanted others to be honorable so they wrote codes of honor that everyone ignored and probably laughed at them for and ages later historians unearthed them and pretended thats how things were back then because the reality is pretty depressing
Same, except I figured it out as soon as the spear didn't do anything and he broke the wall open with one of his attacks. Pretty disappointing in a game that is otherwise really well put together.
Honestly the whole spear/armor thing is completely pointless and should have either had more purpose or at least not been pointed out like it was significant. If it was just a neat little side thing that the spear did on that one enemy then sure, but it's presented like it's the main point of the spear and then there's only a single enemy in the entire game that it works on.
Knights in real life are way more interesting than knights in prissy literature
Wait, is he supposed to be difficult? Just break his posture and kill him with a finisher
>Cheating
>ROBERTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
*Slam*
The code was also written during the Peaceful(until the Imperial reformation) Edo period as well, after all the actual warring Eras.
Sekiro was about being as dirty as posible
This
I’m certain this is actually mentioned at some point
>sekiro
>samurai
Just to addon to my post. Many of the top assassins/manslayers during the Imperial uprising were samurai, that betrayed the other samurai to curry favor with the emperor(which had more support) abused this code to assassinate them. Samurai were always the best assassins in Japan's history based on being more skilled than peasant militias(Ninjas included)
Haunting
aryan god chained ogre filtered all of Zig Forums before they even got to warrior
Complaining about historical differences in steel in a game where you come back to life multiple times, fight a ghost munk, dive into memories, and fight 20 foot tall ape wielding swords.
Why is there always the one guy who can't separate history and fantasy.
>his son was the one who made the firecrackers in your arm
ROBERRRRRTO
>played most of the game without the firecrackers because I forgot to go back and buy them from the guy and then completely forgot they existed
>second playthrough using them was way less fun, just chain stunning everything and mashing R1, massive margin for error because you get so much free damage and barely have to actually do the fight mechanics
They never did nerf those things did they?
