It's fun, the only thing I dislike is the supernova and its mechanic, which feels artificial to me.

its really fun but the supernova is aids, breaking the horns twice should lock him into his previous element for the rest of the fight

bad bait. if you really wanted to complain about basic ass dragons you could have complained about all the rathians and rathalos variants, not the actual creative, unique and easily distinguishable/distinct dragons like vaal hazak, xeno'jiiva, shara ishvalda and namielle

there isn't anything wrong with there being a lot of dragons in a game about hunting monsters as long as they're distinct

Had a ton of fun with it, nova aside it's a pretty nice fight.

agreed entirely, cinematically it looks great, nice varied moves but the gimmick is retarded and it's absolutely soulsucking with random players
i was really excited for the fight but i could only stand it long enough to make 1-2 weapons and some armour i liked.

In my opinion, Alatreon is the gold standard of monster design
Much better than a monster zooming around, forcing you to constantly sheath to chase them down only for them to leap 50 feet away again

fuck off. A good nova is something like the Eruzerion which can be ran away from like a little bitch but waste your time or challenged for extra-damage if your timing and reflex are good enough.

timer aside, i fucking love kulve taroth's design and her fight but doing her master rank quest with randoms is so fucking atrocious which is a shame since i find multiplayer the most fun. the amount of people that die every run to her tail slap is retardedly high. sure it has a huge hitzone but she gives a long warning before it each time and the spots to dodge are obvious

Agreed. A shame too because he has the best hitboxes in the game. I solo'd him a couple of times to get a few weapons and haven't touched him since.

Safi'jiiva is only beatable solo with mod or by farming the quest for an autistic amount of time.

It's a boring mechanic that forces you to heal and is either unavoidable or require little input from the player. Frontier has several nukes that are much more engaging.

Once you actually learn the fight it's nothing but a tedious gimmick that exists solely to stop you using fun builds in a fun fight.
