Boot up the game

>Boot up the game
>First five seconds
>"Everything that lives is designed to end. We are perpetually trapped in a never-ending spiral of life and death. Is this a curse? Or some kind of punishment? I often think about the god who blessed us with this cryptic puzzle...and wonder if we'll ever get the chance to kill him."
Exactly how big of a fedora do I need to enjoy this game?

thats like the only reference to religion in the entire game.

Just quit already you fucking chode.

why are japs so obsessed with the idea of killing God ?

That's not what it really says in Japanese. She's talking about her creator. Since the subs are for the English dub, these things end up happening.

False
It can be inferred that is what she is talking about in English. Considering her creators as god.

When does the game get good? Just talked to Pascal and apparently I'm going to the "Forest Kingdom" next.

>Exactly how big of a fedora do I need to enjoy this game?
They don't mean God in a literal way; you're good.

Fuck off Christcuck.

Because to them there isnt one God, there are many. The evil ones must be purged

stfu chud

>When does the game get good?
No

So this is a bait thread. Ok, bye.

yeah, so? same shit as pagan european religions, still they werent obsessed

The game's core theme is Nihilism, but she's referring to Human beings, the ones who created her.

>The game's core theme is Nihilism
It's the exact opposite: Existentialism.

>In this world, is the destiny of mankind controlled by some transcendental entity or law? Is it like the hand of God hovering above? At least it is true that man has no control, even over his own will.

literal millennia of compounded manlet rage

Route A/B, sure, but Route C is definitely Nihilism.

>the virgin nietzsche
>the chad kierkegaard

Lol did you really play through the whole game and not pick up on any of the themes? Fucking how?

Played this two months ago. Platinum'd it legitimately. One of my favorite games now.

The phrase makes sense once you end the game...yeah, sounds pretentious as fuck but is less than you think...the story and the message behind it is quite simple.

Exactly the opposite of nihilism...do all the endings faggot

Dude, just leave and go back to your christian circlejerk blogs

Great game. Very contemplative and intrsopective. I enjoyed it.

Route C is Nihilism and the realization of the truth for 9S. For A2 it's the breaking away from the Nihilism and anger and learning to let go to an extent. NieR Automata has a balance to its story thats pretty neat.

Way ahead of you.

I don't need to play a game to have an opinion on it.

She's talking about Yoko Taro.
It's meta.

You just need to not be underaged tryhard dudebro.

actually forgot about this quote, knowing the plot of the game and rereading this it's actually pretty based

>When does the game get good?
The moment you choose "new game".

Yes you do.

You're technically correct, you are allowed to have an opinion, it's just that your opinion is worse than worthless
