GMMMMMMHH!

Were Pillagers a good idea, anons? I personally like them, Minecraft needed a more challenging enemy mob, and I love the village raids.

HRRRRMM!

(Cont) Of course, some argue that they make Minecraft more combat-centric than it should be.

Just wall off the villager and they are easy to deal with. Free saddles, free respawn dolls, afterwards you can buy from your villagers for dirt cheap.

If anything I would make them harder but they are fun and give a big reward.

What are some good podcasts?
I've just undertook a massive project and need something I can just listen to for 30 hours
I don't really care what it's about, as long as it's good.

I honestly think they're the worst addition to the game. Having powerful hostile mobs that spawn out in broad daylight really fucks up the simple premise of survival. The fact that they're ugly and their design/lore is so lazy and contrived just muddies up what should be an easily accessible/universal game even moreso than it already has. Minecraft shouldn't have human mobs.

they were better than the WWF shill updates

No. Minecraft doesn't need to make more challenging mobs, it needs to make the player less OP.
>no sprinting
>no skipping night
>no superabundance of food
>no tripping over a village of shipwreck for free loot every three chunks

cumtown
I built three floating islands on some Zig Forums server while listening to them. Only for some retarded drama to unfold and everyone left

Any mods that utilize chemistry in any way?

Anyone play Minecraft on a console? Is it even worth it?
I'm waiting on a PSU and need something to play with my gf on my switch

What do we think 1.17 will be

Fuck these grey ass niggas

OBDM

>no sprinting
Get the fuck out of here nigger. I'd be alright with a food overhaul because farming right now is pretty useless for most crops but you're insane if you think sprinting is unnecessary.

Listen to audiobooks.

Sprinting turns the "survival" element of the game into a total joke. Go back and play beta and see how much better the game was without it

mountains and more bug fixes like the bee update
1.18 is probably either caves, end update, or the absolutely fucking awful combat changes jeb is cooking up
the whole custom dimension + biome thing is also being fleshed out

Actually, you may have a good point. No sprinting would also make horses more useful.

Why is mining and crafting so terrible in this game jesus christ

Really true, which is really funny to think about.

Speaking of, what do you guys think the best part of Minecraft is?

I love building brown bricks in moincrap

I'm not opposed to the idea of some kind of speed boosting effect; I think potions fill that role pretty well. But having a speed boost available, right at the beginning, with a negligible cost, that allows you to outrun pretty much every hostile mob, is really game-breaking.

I like farming for hours on end on an industrial scale

How everything is interactable. You could move an entire mountain if you wanted to. The scope of what/where you can build makes this game king.

building and early game exploration
nothing like filling out a map and realizing you have a mesa or jungle only a thousand blocks away with unique blocks that expand your choices a fuckton
Once you get settled you can build nether tunnels everywhere which is nice. I've been using soul sand for all my roads instead of packed ice this time.

fucking hate Phantoms

Any modfags here? If so, what are your favorite and least favorite mods?

>the absolutely fucking awful combat changes jeb is cooking up
I didn't hear about this. What's he got planned?

Installing a clusterfuck of mods I picked randomly off Curse, locking the game to hard and getting raped by giganigger mobs continously in the very first night
