Is this game worth investing into if I don't have any interest in doing the high tier endgame content? Raids are fun but the raids that take a static two weeks of progression to clear don't really appeal to me. Basically I'm a filthy casul.

How are you with them using Ardbert's voice whenever they want to have the WoL talk in cutscenes? There was no reason for him to talk during the Elidibus fight but there he was.

By Graha returning to the source, the paradox of the calamity being averted but him still existing has been solved. With the defeat of Elidibus and G'raha turning into crystal, and him returning to the Source, the timeline of Black Rose can finally collapse. Its no longer true. Its a failed timeline, similar to what Alexander saw. G'raha might as well not have gone back in time, as the paradox no longer esists.

Trial just got expanded, give it a shot. See if you like the trial fights (8 man content) that it makes you do. If you find those fun, yeah you'll probably enjoy your time, and the story generally gets better the longer it goes.

There's also pretty variable levels of challenge in the end game content, you might like some of it.

Yeah but ARR the english voices sucked so I never looked back, plus I'm already used to them in JP

The only difference between doing Savage raiding and not is that you get the same tier of gear 3-4 months later, can minmax your stats more which there is no reason to do besides for week 1 progressing said hardcore raids and Ultimate fights which you won't do anyway, you can't dye a very small subset of gear sets but the default color is usually the intended look anyway and you will miss out on a 3 gaudy mounts per expansion. That's about it.

Solid yes. HW I feel had some missteps in pacing from stuff like the save Raubahn sections. That plus Emet being a much more intimately involved antagonist than Nidhogg or Thordan elevates it above HW for me.

Yeah doing that stuff can be a lot of fun if it's with like minded people who are having a laugh with you, but can turn frustrating real fast if not everyone's on the same page. 'Endgame' does technically include really casual content like the 24 man raids though, 2/3 of the entire raid can die and you'll still probably win.

there are lots of good film actors that can speak and act properly, but for some reason only cringey anime clowns get the jobs.
