Some games should stay 2D

Some games should stay 2D

As soon as FE went 3D it lost all of it's charm.
Literally, fucking all of it

I know right? The GBA ones are pure soul tho.

Like Pokemon. GF can't be trusted to make models and should've stuck to spritework.

The models are fine though. They can't be trusted with animating and texturizing/shading the models.

>Guy
Where's his sister Girl?

SHUT THE FUCK UP FAGGOT

boom roasted

>promotes Guy

The damnedest thing is, they probably wouldn't have done this if they could have. I think the GBA's low brightness forced them to be flashy. You can already see in Sacred Stones they made new animations a little more subdued

This is technically correct

>Best series in FE
>It's 3D.

Golden Sun comes to mind

Same with Ace Attorney. At least in regards to Apollo's gimmick, when it was sprite based it would take some time to actually see what were the tics that people had and you had to zoom in, and the game would show a different, more detailed sprite, while in Dual Destinies you can almost immediatly realize what the tic is.

Creatures made them anyway but honestly Pokemon would look fine if they just hired more devs capable of 3D development and if Masuda was removed. I remember before SwishSwosh he said something about how they looked into changing the way they texture Pokemon to be a bit more realistic (I assume this meant more like how Smash and Pokken texture things than Detective Pikachu-levels of realism personally.), and change up the gameplay but they were afraid parents would be afraid of the brand or some dumb shit like that. Masuda clearly needs a reality check.

Excuse me?

The models WERE fine. They've been using them since XY. Three fucking gens of models that look exactly the same.

I remember this game having decent animations to it, a lot more impactful than the 3DS games.

It does however every playthrough I turn it off so maps don't last longer than a single chapter of FE4

Incorrect, As soon as Fire Emblem allowed marriage and waifu fagging it lost its charm. Fire Emblem Path of Radiance and Sacred stones are objectively the best games in the series. This isn't up for debate.

The XY models were PS3 high poly models and they tanked those DS games though. The versions used for XY also seem to have been slightly (VERY slightly) downgraded versions compared to what SS use. The issue is they keep using that ugly plasticy style of celshading for all the games.

You mean marriage between the player characters and the game characters, right?
Marriage has been in the game since supports.

I don't really get why people like that aspect of Three Houses. I felt like it was all really fucking halfassed. Like it wanted to be Persona but the devs didn't want to put time into actually doing things well.

>sacred stones
>best anything

2D characters with 3D environs, like Strider on PSX.

>he doesn't think Sacred Stones is the best in the series
Get out heretic

>being able to grind on monsters eliminating the difficulty curb
no I don't

Ah, the Indiana Jones move. A classic.

>I don't really get why people like that aspect of Three Houses
casuals get to know more about poorly written characters

Coming from a nuPersona fan, I thought the idea of the npcs having slinks with each other was a good idea in theory. But where it failed was the characters just weren't fleshed out enough and most support conversations would just be them spouting out their one character trope ad nauseum.
>Ralph: "Hey Bernie whatcha eating? "
>Bernie: "AH, HE'S GOING TO KILL ME!"

Best main character, villain, and story in the entire series.
Too bad the sequel sucked ass an basically ruined the story, the villain and had the worst main character in the entire series.
