Spend 2 hours on a voyage going to several islands and collecting a lot of treasure.

On the trip back to the outpost, another ship of tryhards come and sink our ship and steal all of our stuff.

Honestly, how is this allowed? That's just terrible game design.

Get shrekt.

You either steal, or get stolen.

oh i get it

Why did you let them take all your shit OP?

>game is literally a pirate simulator
>don't do piracy

Did they even add a point to get the game yet?
Do they think pirates just stole shit and killed people for no reason or something?

IMAGINE not being a ReaperCHAD and just taking some nerds shit and handing it in for a GIRTHY 2.5x multiplier.
Get fucked PVE kid.

What do you mean by "a point"?

>Do they think pirates just stole shit and killed people for no reason or something?
No? It's not a historical simulator. It's a cartoony fantasy game.

It's a multiplayer game.
Point is having fun, dumbass.

Isn't it a full price game though?
Shouldn't it be a fully featured game where multiplayer is an element?

My crew is never taken by surprise because we keep a mate in the crow's nest scanning for enemies.

Dunno, dude
It costs 725 Mordor coins and that price is quite just, unlike, say, Horizon which costs 2500 or something.

Based fellow brain owner.

Well they were a bunch of tryhards so we had no chance against them
Because they are assholes
it's like 40 euros

The game has tall tales for story missions.

>Do they think pirates just stole shit and killed people for no reason or something?
You sell your loot in sea of thieves, just like in real life! :D
1€/month isn't a bad deal for it

>Shouldn't it be a fully featured game
Who defines "fully featured"? Is Pong a fully featured game?

>Shouldn't it be a fully featured game where multiplayer is an element?
It should be exactly what the developers want it to be.

But then what do you do? just run away?

why do pets cost real money bros

Why have someone in the crow's nest when you can just...periodically check the horizon?

Sink them before they can sink you.

Why wouldn't they?

€1 is first month only.

>Why have someone in the crow's nest when you can just...periodically check the horizon?
not that user but let me explain to you why I would rape you so hard you'd thank me for the experience after

when me and the lads see a ship sail or mast poking behind an island or in front of an island, we adjust our angle of approach so that if they're all on the island, they will be blocked by the natural landscape from seeing us. Doing a full 360 on islands is very difficult to do depending on the island.

Keep somebody in your crows nest, don't be daft.

Yes, if we can't expect to take them with our supplies. If we can, we'll use the islands as obstacles to take pot shots at them or use a storm to disorient them.

sea of thieves is legitimately the best game for griefing since the last couple of years
havent seen people get this assmad for a long time

I've been playing SoT longer than you have, and I never once have had to watch from the crow's nest outside of having someone navigating around rocks in the middle of the fog.

There's never just going to be a random ship hiding behind a random island waiting to start sailing and ambush you. If they're hiding behind an island, it means either they're parked there for a reason, or the people themselves are off trying to sneak somewhere else. Either way, they're not a threat.

Not true, just cancel sub and redo it, I don't understand why anyone would buy this game through steam when it's 40x more expensive

I don't HAVE to, but it pays off when you have a hold full of loot not to take risks.

>I've been playing SoT longer than you have
and yet you play like a simpleton
>There's never just going to be a random ship hiding behind a random island waiting to start sailing and ambush you
pretending like you've never been attacked while on an island with your shit plays, lmao

You kidding?
People carebear in this game to the extreme.
80% of the time I run into another Pirate in this game while I'm solo they're dicking around being friendly on my ship, and then start spamming 'No!' when I shoot them.

Pong wasn't released in 2018.

What reason is there to even do PVE stuff?
Do you get ship upgrades or something? It just seems like solely PVPing is the best way about it.

toss that shit overboard
