How are you liking the game so far PCbros?
I think the port is pretty good and haven't had any issues, probably just shitters with their shitter PCs complaining as usual.
Horizon: Zero Dawn
Gameplay is pretty fun once you start unlocking better weapons. Shame the story is so fucking awful though. I eventually just started skipping all the cut-scenes because the dialogue felt like it was written by a 9 year old.
Not even worth pirating
what games are you into?
How can this happen??? Horizon was written by John Gonzalez, who was the lead writer and narrative designer on Fallout: New Vegas.
Computers are not powerful enough to run this game. They are holding gaming back
This. PC's just aren't powerful enough to run quality console games well. It will take 2-3 years before the game will run on consumer level ($1500-$2000) PC's well.
The story really isn't the problem the dialogue is just so terrible and of course it has Ashley Butch so you have to bare such awful VA.
idk
the story is objectively shit
>Horizon was written by John Gonzalez
The general outline for the story was written by him, which is why it's cool.
Too bad the dialogue ruins it.
I got a 2080ti and I've had no problems with it except some frame drops here and there.
Game's mostly pretty, the gameplay's really basic. Story's bland so I'm barely paying attention.
the overarching story is really just basic ass euro-comics but without the edginess or depth.
Setting is great, the world is fun to explore, gameplay is mediocre unresponsive and at times broken. There is a verticality in the way the map is made that it's never fully embraced in favour of "you can go only when we decide you can go", made me think of how good Elex it is desu.
Also all the dialogue is shit va, strange animation on ugly models and random cuts while talking, fucking hell. All characters are shit and i wanna kill them all.
The game is overall a copypaste of the ubisoft formula with a nice skin and a shit story, all the elements to be called a masterpiece or a great game by retards fanboys.
Mediocre.
Most cities or villages felt very MMO-ish in that you couldn't interact with anyone and just had one person to go to for a fetch quest.
It's a popcorn movie equivalent of a game. Big blockbuster, super beautiful to look at and pretty effects. The story really let me down and the gameplay is stale as hell. But at least it's beautiful so the exploration is kinda worth it.
I played it on PS4 originally and loved it, despite a few flaws it had. I decided to pirate it for PC and try it out with actual aiming and I am enjoying it so much more now that I can consistently hit enemy weakpoints. The port has some mild issues but nothing game breaking once I got it running initially.
It's good so far, worth the replay for me
The story is one of the better ones concerning open world games and it even has some very good twists near the end, you are just a moron "hurr i skip cutscenes cause it all sucks" yeah how would you even know if you skip everything you dwarf.
retarded
you need better material shill, everyone knows how shitty the performace is when even the latest in pc specs cant escape the frame skipping, try something like "gameplay is better than botw", that seems to get the (You)s going
You can't expect much depth from a story outline. The other writers were supposed to provide that and they fucked it up.
Agreed the story only gets more interesting as it goes on
reminder that this isthe state of sony exclusives
>Horizon: Zero Depth
>Horizon: Zero Gameplay
>Horizon: Zero Challenge
>Horizon: Zero Interest
>Horizon: Zero Playercount
>Horizon: Zero Metacritic Audience Average
Didn't get it, I can only tolerate one Assassin's Creed per decade.
I've seen you post this several times and have not drawn a single (You)
>user: Zero Replies
not the original user who posted it, just reposting because true
3 hours in, the game is still boring as shit for me
>Not him but...
>Actually am him
Are people actually getting this to run?
its unironically one of those games that doesnt get good until like 4-5 hours in. Get to the part where you are unleashed into the desert
retarded
>trailer for the sequel
>there's nothing I wouldn't do
>no depth I wouldn't explore
>no depth
it writes itself
Yes skipping cutscenes is retarded
