Is Portal the smartest game ever made?
Is Portal the smartest game ever made?
A. The first game clearly says that it only maintains objects momentum, doesn't give any.
Does speed of the portal affect propulsion? If so then b
>the moving platform with the cube hits the sides of the platform that has the portal
>momentum is inherited by the cube
>cube now actually flies out at the other end with some velocity
Saying they are the same is kind of retard.
If you go through a door do you have speed? If you stand still and a door is passing you at Mach 1 does it accelerate you?
>Game says momentum is preserved
>Momentum is a vector, therefore any change in direction is not a preservation of momentum
>Game is proved wrong by itsel
No, see: or play the game. It is only like 4h long at max.
>This thread again
It's a. But you'll get 400 replies just like last night.
It's a paradox. There's no "true" answer to this. You are right about him getting 400 replies though, just like ever other 1000 fucking times this thread has been made
>portal is literally just hole
>somehow it changes vector when it doesnät
>user gets proven wrong by himself
>Being this stupid
As another poster stated tho, the first game essentially answers it. Objects hold momentum, not the portals.
I hate that I'm posting in it.
>Cube is thrown towards north, entering a portal facing south
>Cube exits from another portal facing south
>Cube ends up being hurled in the opposite direction it was originally moving towards
>No change in vector btw
>Still being this stupid
Baba is You is the smartest game ever.
I'm literally too brainlet to beat it.
Very compelling argument. I sure was schooled today.
The absolute state of American Education.
Not the smartest but certainly one of the most tightly, well made ones ever made.
Post the webm.
Momentum is relative though.
According to what I played, its A
But those are not the same in any way
this.
Baba puzzles eventually become galaxy brain tier. Portal is barely even a puzzle game, it's so easy.
this
This, B or D(cube gets stuck) are the only plausible answers
One of the best. Portal 2 is even better, especially co-op. Played that with my cutest sister and had a blast, though I think she had a difficult time understanding the concept and just liked to follow my instructions.
>There's no "true" answer to this.
Yes, there it and it's A. That's because the cube itself doesn't have any momentum.
Lads, imagine a wall on wheels with a hole in it that you run with into a static box, the box isn't gonna randomly fly through the wall, is it?
(B)ased divergent thinker.
