I'm still playing the "replace the broken switch" game. Its taking a while

Lots of indies, plus finishing up MHGU's hub quests and MUA3's side content.
Going to play FF7 later

Can you guys give me a quick rundown on essentials? Currently I have these, haven't played any of them:
BOTW
LM3
Paper Mario:OK

Anything I ought to play or I should accept the drought and wait patiently for BOTW2? I also beat Odyssey and DKC a while ago.

I bought a Switch yesterday and ring fit adventure today. It was pretty fun and definitely gave me a good workout. Not sure if im interested in any of the exclusives, but i might get clubhouse 51 just to have fun with friends in portable mode. Maybe ill check out BotW or that mario rabbit game.

mostly just ultimate but i've wasted so much fucking time with it, i keep taking it out and putting it back in its case, then being like "how about a round of smash?!" and playing for 1-4hrs, arg

Curse of the moon 2
Origami king was a waste of 60 bucks so I'm never buying nintendo crap ever again
Maybe I will also sell my switch altogether since there hasn't been a good nintendo game since Three Houses. Maybe since Luigi's Mansion, haven't played that one yet.

Splatoon 2 + octoexpansion is still pretty active and has solid enough single player and great multiplayer.
Mario + Rabbids is pretty good if you like XCom-style games.
Astral Chain is decent if you like Platinum at all
I'd say it honestly really depends on your preferences. What kinds of games do you like usually?

Just finished this gem. Really deserved it's fame. Melia best girl.
After this I'm gonna try to git gud at smash with Shulk, and get Pikmin 3.
I've never played pikmin before.

My huge backlog until RF5 comes out.

I love Nintendo's common stuff, hence biting the bullet and buying PMOK even though people generally shat on it. I've spent previous months replaying and playing Zelda's previous installments, they were great and I'm looking forward to BOTW. Really enjoyed Odyssey, it and 64 are my favourites. I even enjoyed 3D World on CEMU. Totally forgot about Astral Chain, been meaning to give it a shot, not a fan of Kamiya's scorewankery, but I like some of Platinum's games such as Vanquish. NieR was alright.

Thanks for that, similar 3DS guide was handy as hell.

Is it worth getting Smash at this moment? Can I enjoy it if play it offline?

Currently playing this year:
Trannymal Crossing
Smash
Dead cells
Ori

Played this year.
Deadly Premonition
Deadly Premonition 2
Code of Princess EX
Xenoblade Future Connected

Backlog:

Odyssey is shit, bring it to mid tier. What a trash game.

I forgot to add Cadence of Hyrule to the backlog.

Finished Trials of Mana and Bug Fables.
Burned out on Animal Crossing
Right now going through MHGU solo.

tl;dr: ports ports ports ports ports

i used to love mario kart but mario kart 8 deluxe is boring as fuck

200cc is fun as fuck, but I had a Wii U and got all the DLC so I have no reason to buy Deluxe.

I've mostly been playing wow classic this year with a group of friends we made a guild together it's been lots of fun but also very stressful and time consuming so my switch has become my escape ive mostly been playing katana zero, sonic Mania and a rerun of botw

If you have no friends to play Ultimate with you are going to run out of things to do pretty quickly

So yeah, Mario + Rabbids is definitely your jam
Splatoon 2, as I said.
I'd also give Smash a look
Astral Chain is a bit different from other Platinum games, it's a bit slower and more methodical.
I'd also recommend, if you're in the mood for an RPG, XB1DE. It has a lot of the same charm of BOTW due to sharing a lot of the same team for world design.
If you're craving more Mario stuff, Mario Maker 2 is still fairly active
And if you think you can cut it, Cadence of Hyrule is a nice nostalgic Zelda rhythm game

you’ll get bored of the single-player stuff fast

>Travis Strikes Again (Only level left is Killer Marathon)
It's arguably my favorite world, has a ton of variety and the pin-ball style antics are fun as fuck.
If only they gave every world in that game the same level of attention. Kind of wish Killer is Dead got some more variety.

Almost exclusively Animal Crossing and Muse Dash. I've already finished everything else I own.

played a lot of VN's like Steins;gate, Raging Loop, AI the Somnium Files

I actually pretty much agree with this list. Though I feel like both Xenoblade and Xenoblade 2 belong on the exact same level personally, so one would either need to move up, or one down.

AC:NH - started terraforming my island but it's hard going...
Hyrule Warriors - Great grindy game, still aiming to get 100% complete on this...
Once those are done will go back to XC and probably get XC 2 at Christmas time.

I have the whole high tier and almost every one of them is disappointing. The only game that belongs there is donkey Kong. The entire system is overpriced and overrated, I should have skipped the generation and hacked it when all the games were released.

I'd say the High Entia games are those that can be enjoyed by anybody.
Top are games that most people can enjoy but obviously have some niche appeal as well
Mid are very much games for particular niches and do well within those groups.
Low are very situationally fun, have to be with a particular set of people or in a specific mood to enjoy.
Bottom are games that I have never known anyone to genuinely enjoy once

Nothing cause I sold mine

I'm currently playing XC2

I finished Catherine fullbody and I cave in and bought animal crossing because I need an idle shit to do until rune factory 5 comes out or at least says hi
